“My fiancé and I have been mourning the death of Augusta's Steak 'n Shake ever since it closed last year, since we love smash burgers and shoestring fries. But now that we have found Freddy's....Steak 'n Shake who???? Freddy's is better by leaps and bounds! Their smash burgers are delicious!! We both got the Freddy's original double, which had the perfect ratio of meat (2 patties) to cheese to toppings (pickle and onion) to sauce (mustard). My fiancé ordered fries while I ordered onion rings, and both were delicious. We split some chicken tenders as well, which were okay, but I wouldn't call them Freddy's specialty - that would be their burgers and their custard. The chocolate custard is incredible! I was also pleased with their pick-up system. We ordered ahead of time on the mobile app and came inside to pick up our order. I was a bit worried about the custard, since we arrived a little later than we expected, but they have all cold pick-up items waiting in a separate fridge. No melted custard for us! The staff was pleasant, and the inside is decorated like a classic diner, with a few families sitting down and eating together. It's more focused on its drive-thru/to-go/pick-up orders than it's dine-in setting, since the interior is not very large. But we are order-ahead and take-home people, so that's perfect for us! Looking forward to more smash burgers, shoestring fries, and custard in our future.“
“Like every restaurant in Bidenomics land, it's too expensive. I haven't had chili cheese dogs from dairy Queen for probably 40 years. They actually tasted the same, I think... They were certainly good enough to fill the emptiness in my stomach. Of course I had to finish it off with a blizzard. My favorite is vanilla with Heath bar. Those never let me down. The staff here was very quick and very nice.“
