“In the Charleston area, and looking for authentic Caribbean food comes to Caribbean Delight. Some of the best oxtail I have tasted in a long time, the rice and peas cooked to perfection. The curry goat was tender, and plantains were delicious. The staff was friendly and the food was ready quickly.Parking: Small parking lot“
“Pretty darn good latin cuisine. Being raised in the South Bronx it reminds me of the Puerto Rican ran shops that offered chicharrones and plantains. Very nostalgic. There's a small language barrier but luckily the menu has pictures and I can honestly say the food looks just like the pictures. You don't have to dress up and the environment isn't exquisite but if you came for the food you got the right place.“
“I live in Atlanta now but the Jerk Chicken here is THE BEST I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve eaten at over 90 Jamaican restaurants and counting so with that said I will be back in 2 weeks it’s a 5 hour drive but it’s worth it because I’ve ate here so many times but never had to drive this far but I will in 2 weeks“
“I stopped it for the first time after seeing high reviews on Google. I have very limited experience with Jamaican and Caribbean style food, but I've really enjoyed what I've had in the past and always like crepes, so I decided to try it out. I got the curried oxtail (my first time trying oxtail in general) and fried sweet plantains and was ELATED with my decision! The oxtail was so tender and incredibly seasoned, amazing flavor. From the first few bites, I started texting friends to rave about how delicious it was. (My photo was also after a few bites)The staff were also lovely and attentive. I happened to come in during a very slow period, but they struck a good balance of checking in and leaving me alone to enjoy my meal.Overall I was so happy with my meal and highly recommend it!“
