“I’m a sucker for good customer service :) I’ve been here several times. I told a friend you could eat off the floor because it was so clean inside which is huge to me. I have enjoyed my meals, but the one thing that took me over the top was their coco bread. If you only try one thing please let it be the coco bread :) no regrets I promise. I got a side of Mac & Cheese and the side is huge and priced real good! Oh, my review wouldn’t be authentic if I didn’t mention that I wasn’t a fan of the Rasta pasta…trust me I really wanted to be, but it was new to me, and my taste buds said no thanks. The pasta and sauce combination were off but I have no clue if it’s suppose to be that way (more pasta than sauce…the flavors didn’t hit for me). Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu!!!“
“My cocktail was good. The salmon on my salad was cold. I did order their wings, " extra crispy" but unfortunately that request wasn't honored. I didn't take a picture of the wings. Restaurant is near the mall, which is in walking distance. Restaurant was clean and my food came out in timely manner.Parking: Stand alone restaurant with plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“this place is PHENOMENAL!!!we've been a few times and looking forward to the next. portions are ridiculously large, prices are fair, wait staff and manager super friendly.the jerk chicken , brown stewed chicken, and curry chicken are to die for. 10/10 absolutely recommend!“
“Excellent food! A group of us ate and we loved everything we got. The poor bar server who took our orders was overworked but still did a fantastic job. The food came out blazingly fast. I recommend the roasted corn chowder and the pulled pork nachos. The building is a former gas station.“
“We had an incredible dining experience last night at Coterie..food was simply amazing, cooked to perfection and delicious!! Service was exceptional and loved sitting outside on patio surrounded by all the greenery. Will be returning soon!!“
“I stopped it for the first time after seeing high reviews on Google. I have very limited experience with Jamaican and Caribbean style food, but I've really enjoyed what I've had in the past and always like crepes, so I decided to try it out. I got the curried oxtail (my first time trying oxtail in general) and fried sweet plantains and was ELATED with my decision! The oxtail was so tender and incredibly seasoned, amazing flavor. From the first few bites, I started texting friends to rave about how delicious it was. (My photo was also after a few bites)The staff were also lovely and attentive. I happened to come in during a very slow period, but they struck a good balance of checking in and leaving me alone to enjoy my meal.Overall I was so happy with my meal and highly recommend it!“
“Awesome outdoor restaurant with good food. You do have to serve yourself, but it is a nice place to sit and enjoy a taco and a beer. Lots of shade from trees.Parking: Not many places to park but short walking distance from downtown main drag. There are a decent amount of pay for parking lots nearby.Kid-friendliness: All the seating is wooden benches and tables outside and kids can run around.“
“I honestly can't stay out of this place.... I have tried many places in Charleston and this is the only one that comes close to what I would get back home......... I love the food.... Great portion sizes and not pricey.....The only down part is the building is small and seats are limited.....“
“Pretty darn good latin cuisine. Being raised in the South Bronx it reminds me of the Puerto Rican ran shops that offered chicharrones and plantains. Very nostalgic. There's a small language barrier but luckily the menu has pictures and I can honestly say the food looks just like the pictures. You don't have to dress up and the environment isn't exquisite but if you came for the food you got the right place.“
“The oxtails were excellent, and the curry and jerk chicken dinners are delicious as well. The service was exceptional and quick. The restaurant can probably seat about twenty customers at a time, but I’ve never seen more than a handful of customers actually dining in during the times I’ve visited the restaurant. They also serve a variety of drinks that are familiar in Caribbean restaurants, including one of my favorites, kola champagne soda.“
“The cocktails are fantastic. Whatever your preferred libation pleasure, they can make it or have a rendition of it that's probably better than your standard. The one food option (a Cuban when we were there) was great and a nice little bit of substance to the belly while we continued to order their well crafted drinks.Like others have said, they make quality cocktails efficiently.Definitely hit this spot. You will be glad you did.“
