Took in three hungry kiddos and this place didn't disappoint! The tater tots were on point, cheese curds were flavorful, fried pickles couldn't have been better. And boy do those little dogs pack a punch! But what's even better than the food, was the service! Very accommodating, even gave us an extra drink in the family pack. When we come back to Charleston, this will be our first stop!

This place was great. It was near our AirBnB and if I am being honest, it was just as good or better than some of the more expensive restaurants we visited in the area. Service was great and the food came out quick and was delicious. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

This little dog was amazing!!! Just got one, touring of course. Ate it out back and headed back to the hotel. Spit glands opened up wide, wanted more, I almost drowned. Mouth watering now. Going back. Watch out Chef big tip coming. Smash burger was good too. Ate it at the hotel. Still hot after 20 minutes drive. Betcha lot better right off the grill. Good Job!!! Lasting memories.

Definitely will not be going back here. Ordered a hotdog combo for both of us ($11+ each) and received 1 small plastic basket with 2 hotdogs and 12 French fries. Had to ask for a separate basket to separate our food as opposed to eating out of the same basket. Worse hotdog ever, tasted like it was sitting in water for a long time and toppings? ugh!

I got the 2 coney with fries and did not enjoy it at all. The hotdog chili is NOT good and there was a funny taste when I first bite into each bite. The fries were hard. Very disappointing.

Coney Island Hot Weiner Bar and Restaurant is a gem of a restaurant located in Park Circle. One of the standout features of this establishment is the incredibly friendly owner, who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and taken care of.The menu at Coney Island Hot Weiner Bar and Restaurant is focused on classic hot dogs, hamburgers, and other American-style fare. The hot dogs, in particular, are delicious and feature a variety of toppings and sauces to choose from. One of the unique features of this establishment is the owner's support of military members. The owner is always happy to chat with active-duty and retired military members. It's the little touch that goes the distance at the Hot Weiner Bar!

If you are from WNY and want Texas hots .. These coney dogs are pretty darn close. Brings back memories of Buffalo. Next to / in with a bar. What's not to like?

The food was really good, coney and burgers. The service wasn't bad, but they were you get guys with not much of a personality. They weren't rude, just not real friendly. The atmosphere was fun, but not fancy by no means. The restaurant itself only has a few barstool type seats. However, it is openly attached to a small bar with additional seating. Now that I know about this place, I will be back!

Disappointing to say the least. Still looking for the best franks in Charleston. $11.09 (w/ tax) for this combo. 2 dogs and a drink plus fries. The dogs themselves are pale and microscopic. Criminal pricing for these two bite weiners. Cheese on top is stone cold. Open for a redemption review. However, service was quality and a relaxed environment.

First time! Haven't had a Coney in years (MN) Went for the Coney with cheese with the works combo (tater tots).Hot dog had nice snap, bun was perfectly steamed, onions were mellow and complemented the Coney sauce. Tater tots were flavorful.Patrick was very friendly, great conversation. He made you feel welcome and at home.Thank you! I'll be back!

The coney dogs were disgusting. Mainly because the hot dog is generic and cheap and are BOILED! So gross. No flavor and the hot dog was gray, once again gross. They chilli tasted like it came from a can. The best part of it was the mustard and onions. First of all, YOU NEED TO GRILL THE HOT DOG! There is a place in Johnstown PA, been around since the 50's, its called Coney Island, you may want to call them for some tips on how to make a real coney. Until then, nope, your food made me and my husband sick. I do believe the positive reviews are from family and friends of the owner.

We have been trying to get it together and make it to Sunday Steak Night here and tonight it finally happened. It was everything we hoped for! The chef is adorable and takes pride in his craft. Marinated New York strip cooked to perfection and topped with a compound butter served with mashed potatoes and a Demi glacé gravy and big fat asparagus and mushrooms and onion. Chili cheese fries were also tasty.

The best hidden gem we’ve found so far! A quick and easy go to with the best burgers and hotdogs I’ve had in a long time! This is without a doubt our go to place. Can’t recommend it enough!
