I guess this place closed or is on the verge of going out of business? Have come here three times over the past month and they have been closed every single time. No update on Yelp, Facebook, Google etc. What the hell?

The food was good but the service was a bit sketchy. Apparently they are in between closing for a few weeks and then...maybe not...EXACTLY!! Smh. They were out of a lot of things including juice and straws. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and green fries. My fries were cold and the sandwich was lukewarm. The server readily replaced the fries with warmer fries when I told her they were cold. The shrimp ceviche was interesting. It was more like salad less like ceviche (at least what I am accustomed to, which is the Caribbean version). The portion size was large, so I took half home (save the ceviche) and reheated for lunch the next day. It was even better, I guess because it was heated throughout, and not like warm.

The reviews for this place are really great so I decided to give them a try. This was a few months ago and I was pretty happy with my first visit. I went there a couple of weeks ago again and that was also pretty good with the exception of their bread. That was really underwhelming. Last night I ordered from them a third time and I was so disappointed I don’t think I will order again. At least not the meal that I chose last night. I ordered the coconut chicken and there wasn’t any sauce on it. It was just a pile of chicken strips. At the very bottom there was a light amount of sauce that covered some of the chicken strip pieces partially. It was also a significantly smaller portion than the first time. If it’s called coconut chicken and you can’t taste the coconut sauce .. that’s bad.

My friend and I went here a few times before our LAST VISIT, and we enjoyed it so much. The service and food were outstanding.... However...the LAST TIME we went we had a problem with the size of the fish on the fish sandwich. I needed a magnifying glass to find the fish on the bun....like what happened. We called over the manager (wearing a TANK TOP with her armpits exposed...isn't this a health code violation??) She was so fake in her conversation with us and then wanted to "argue" with me about the size of the fish compared to what it used to be!!!! Really???? The server was very nice but the manager, however, was not. Then on the way out we were telling the server how good she was and it was not her fault...the owner held open the door for us....as if he didn't care for our business....word of mouth is not good for business sir!!!!!!!!

We were looking for somewhere new to eat while in Charleston and found this place on Yelp ... long story short, the food was great and the staff was very warm and friendly...this is truly a place to come when we are in town...

I LOVE the Cuban sandwich!!!! I have ordered from here 5 or 6 times now and I have never been disappointed!!!! Perfectly toasted with melty cheese and a ton of meat! I can only eat half of it so I get to enjoy it for lunch again the next day.

The best Cuban I have ever had was in Miami - until today. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Service was wonderful as well. Don't miss this place. Passing through town and stumbled across this place.

We were looking for something different and this hit the spot! My husband and I ate here for lunch and we'll be back. We both had the Cuban sandwich. I had plantains and he had green fries. The plantains were perfectly cooked- sweet and delicious! The green fries were amazing! Topped with cheese, cilantro and other goodness. The sandwiches are huge! I couldn't finish half! Different than the Cuban sandwiches I've had in South Florida, but oh so yummy! Melty cheese, pulled pork... they serve chips and salsa to start- skip it- your food is way better than that! Oh- we had a house salad too- could barely eat it- but it was delicious! Sunrise dressing- yum!

This place was delicious! We sat outside. The waitress was very nice and prompt. We ordered the green fries, ropa vieja, pernil & carne asada. Everything was yummy. I wish they would’ve had white rice instead of red, but it’s ok. Also, the Mojito was yummy, but it could’ve used more mint leaves.A little pricey for my liking: $5.25 for one empanada and $16 for an entree, but overall, we’ll be back and I recommend this place!

So wanted a hearty sandwich. What?! The aromas coming out of this establishment was drawing me in. Coming from NYC I'm used to good Cuban and other Latino food. This was us off the chain! I got a Cuban Sandwich and the sampler platter just to try the other offering. The waiter suggested the fries with green sauce instead of the bag of chips that come with the sandwich. I was hesitant but let's do it! So glad I did. The green sauce, what ever it was was so good. One bite of the Cuban sandwich, which is huge bye, almost took me to my knees. I had to stop eating it was so good. I saved half of everything for me son to enjoy. And my half sandwich for tomorrow's dinner. Definitely going back for a sit down meal with family.

Went for lunch with my family this past weekend. Was immediately blown away by the beautiful art work and bright colors on one half of the restaurant, with the natural lighting and assortment of plants I was already in love with the atmosphere! We were greeted warmly by a hostess. There seemed to be plenty of comfortable seating. We ordered plantains for our toddler. Empanadas to try - one pork one beef. Kids chicken & fries for the big kid. And Cubans with green fries for us. The highlight of the meal was most definitely the green fries! Bursting with flavor, every bite was so delicious. I could come back and order green fries as an entree but I’m dying to try the other menu items. The Cubans were also really good! Perfect crisp on the bread and flavor on point. Meaty and cheesy. The empanadas were good with crispy pastry and packed full of meat and yummy sauces on the side for dipping. You can tell the food is made with love! The food came out fast which was nice (especially with toddler in tow)! I highly recommend this spot and can’t wait for cooler weather to sit out on the patio!
