“A nice dinner with our daughter and granddaughters visiting us for the week. Just a few notes, 1) the only wine pour we had was the first after sampling, 2) I noted an $8 charge added to bill because our granddaughters wanted plain French fries versus their standard truffle seasoned fries, 3) food was very well seasoned, but my halibut was a bit overcooked, and 4) how the heck can you charge extra for plain French fries when you are charging $60 for a 7 ounce filet! We had a bad experience and did not go to Pearl for a couple years, then reestablished when friends wanted to go there; this may cause us to pause again.“

“Our first visit as we live full time on HHI. Your Monday night staff needs a raise. They were spread so thin, but the stress never showed. If the restaurant was busier I suspect my review would be very different. It’s not possible for 1 bartender to manage ALL tables and the bar. Food and engagement from both the chef and bartender was great while sitting at the bar.“

“We visited Hilton Head/Bluffton/Beaufort area for a few days from New York City and had a list of places to go. Unfortunately we didn't make it to all but we did stop by Red Stripes and babyyyy, we were glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious and totally unexpected. Jamaican cuisine is not something every one can do, native or not, but the owner and the chefs at the Bluffton location exactly what they're doing. The food, drinks, and service was impeccable. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!“

“ate on the roof top. there was a limited menu. there was a large selection of baskets to choose from. there is no draft beer on the upper level. it is all cans or bottles. the chairs at the table are not the most comfortable. make sure your pants are long enough or your legs will stick to them. they have live music which is nice. it sometimes competed with a nearby restaurant playing music as well. the server delivering the food seemed to be having a bad day. someone in our party asked for cocktail sauce for their shrimp. it was never brought back. definitely need to start taking some bug spray when I go out at night.“

“Fantastic tacos and they have delicious homemade hot sauce. I had al pastor and carne asada, Tim had Al Pastor and shrimp tacos. The tacos were delicious, huge, and came with grilled onions and raw sliced radishes. Service was spot on, our bartender did a really great job. The other patrons were friendly. We are glad we stopped by and would totally come back if we return to the area. We've been roadtripping and it's so lovely to meander upon nice tasty family restaurants that care about their business and patrons. We each had a top shelf margarita, I'm really sensitive to sugar, seemed like there was a marg mix in them. The top shelf is affordable and he asked if we wanted a grand Marnier float, which of course we did.“

“4.5 rating. Open to the public. We were worried it was members only. Dress code was relaxed / casual. Friendly service. Great food. Mostly reasonable prices. Clean restaurant and nice restrooms. Coke products as well as bar. Some Gluten free GF options. Dessert available too. Plenty of free parking.Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free GF options.Parking: Plenty of free parkingKid-friendliness: Most folks were adults but I imagine children are welcome though maybe not many food choices.“

“Stopped in Christmas Eve. Delicious food, friendly waitress. I want to see any one of you open a restaurant- much less one in a foreign country. Relax and enjoy the food. Stop trying to be a food critic. The food was amazing. Are you kidding me !!!!“
