“We had dinner at Perrone's Restaurant last night and every aspect of our meal was great. From friendly bartenders to attentive servers, we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. We tried an octopus and a mussel appetizer, and both were flavorful and delicious. The mussel sauce in particular was so good, I could have sopped it up with an entire loaf of bread. Entrees were generous portions, and the chocolate cake for dessert was really good. If you are within an hour of this restaurant and have not tried it, you're missing one of the two or three best on the entire Grand Strand.”

They have a ton of original flavors you won't find anywhere else, so there's sure to be something for everyone. “We enjoy going to Gilbert's Ice Cream in Pawleys Island for their amazing homemade ice cream😋. They always have new flavors every week and we just had the Chocolate Mint, so delicious. I would recommend going there when you are in the area craving ice cream!”

“My go-to for desserts whenever I’m on vacation (and I LOVE ice cream!) The cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls and cakes are incredible (esp. the caramel and caramel pecan cake!) But the blueberry pie is without a doubt the best pie I have EVER eaten — anywhere! It is divine!!”

“Food different than traditional American Mexican but flavors were awesome. At first it looks limited as far as dishes but the combinations of them with different meats and veggies gives you way more than a single visit. Staff was eager to assist. Will be visiting again to try more combinations. Also, the salsa bar has some of the best flavors especially the chipotle.”

“Had the penne alla.vodka today was awesome and my friend had ravioli and we both had a slice of pizza. He said best ravioli he has ever had and my penne alla Vodka was delicious and the pizza hands down best I have tasted in West Palm Beach.”

“What a great restaurant. We go there at least once a week. We really enjoy the mussels and the wings. They have several dishes that are really good. Live music on the weekends. Great outdoors area so you can enjoy the outdoors. Service is always incredible!! You most check this restaurant out.”

“I have been going to Hanser House for years. Always consistent,
I enjoy their salads , They still have baked potatoes on the menu and food is always good. Obviously, for the previous review- it is in SC so I order appropriately. I wouldn't order flounder in Maine so I've never had a lobster in SC. Go for the shrimp or grouper or their chowder always good.

Not busy at all told to sit where we would like got to table and it was sticky all over the top of it mentioned to waitress she just looked at us we should have walked out but we were wanting to have the oysters so we endured the push off from the waitress we were very disappointed with the food and the very small amount of oysters that were brought to us food and dessert bar was very disgusting order a extra order of hushpuppies very cold and disgusting frozen hushpuppies very unclean unsantiary conditions all over the whole resturant”

“We've stopped at the Old Kitchen many times. Usually at Night of a Thousand Candles for wine while walking the grounds, and perhaps a giant chocolate chip cookie. Today we had the roast beef and provolone sandwich and a Caesar chicken wrap. They were fantastic! Both were freshly made with top-notch ingredients. Iced tea went well with them, the service was excellent, and the garden view was extra special.”

“Best sushi on the island. We've tried everything within about an hour in all directions and this is the only place we go now. Consistently good food and service (though they do get creamed every so often with big groups so be patient...you're supposed to be on island time anyway, remember). Take out and eat in available. All done by same chefs so quality is the same. We moved here years ago from northeast where sushi is a staple. Very glad Yagi is here.”
