“I’m not a sweets person…mostly because no one matches my wife’s bakery perfection.But she doesn’t make multi-layer cronuts and so I had to try Scouts.Umm…this sweet is amazing. That simple.So so so good.To top it off, they’re serving @BridgeCityCoffee.Only knock against them, their location has just a couple outside tables and it gets busy quick with nearly no where to stand or sit.So locals just order lots of to-go, drive home and lay in bed while they eat…because that’s what eating these makes you want to do.“

“Hands down one of my favorite places in Greenville. It's a great place to find locally grown and produced food. Excellent menu selections if you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or just want to pop in for a midday smoothie or coffee. It's popular, but I always find a place to sit down somewhere on their property. Do yourself a favor and just buy two loaves of stecca, because one won't be enough. And the veggie quiche. Don't sleep on the quiche!! Swamp Rabbit Cafe is also a must do stop to make if you're on the SRT between downtown Greenville and TR. If you can, try to bike in for one of the various events they host every week at the site. It's always a good time!“

I haven't been able to eat bread in the states because of how it's made with poor ingredients, but Rise uses quality ingredients and I'm able to enjoy bread and pastries for the first time since I've been back. They were more than helpful and made it just the way my son wanted it ( ninja kidz and penny wise). Not only did it look amazing, but it also tasted amazing! The owners were also both very very nice! “LOVED these cookies. Went on two separate occasions, and ended up bringing home six bags of cookies. Initially upon walking in, the store was really cute but I was turned off by all of the cookies being crispy. Normally I'm a soft cookie kind of gal. But after having a few free samples, my outlook completely changed. I ended up buying the peach cookies, the Key lime cookies, the salted caramel cookies, and the chocolate chip cookies (as a gift). So, SO good! The cookies are tiny, but oddly enough, I feel totally satisfied after just having a few (even though I could definitely put away several larger cookies from other places). I wonder how their calorie count can possibly be correct, but if it is, then these cookies are a godsend. I especially love that they are made with a whole ingredients you can pronounce. There were different folks behind the counter each time I visited, and all of them were supremely kind. They even gave me wonderful recommendations for other places to go on Main Street. HIGHLY recommend!“

“I really enjoyed my time at Due South. I was able to find a table in the sun and find a shady spot when it got too hot. My dog, Luna got to tag along with me, which was nice. There are other shops and restaurants connected. I highly recommend their lavender latte.“

“Oh my! You must stop in this lovely little coffee and pasty shop!It immediately feels warm and welcoming when you come in. This isn't the corporate cookie cutter place.There are plenty of coffee choices as well as hot tea. A large pasty case winks at you and says don't forget me... And you can't! These delights are made fresh daily BY THEM and you can choose from breakfast sweet and savory to dessert. Definitely carry something home for dessert and they wrap it up nicely in a box. I had a lemon blueberry scone that was perfect with with hot tea. I carried home two chocolate crossaints and they were not too sweet, perfect!They even have fresh flowers on the table.Stop in! This is marked on my faves list.“

“Happened to find this gem on our wa to another destination. We spotted it and actually turned around. So glad we did.I have not seen a store like this in a long time. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often.Individual and boxed pastries, fry pies, a nice assortment of breads, packaged gravy mixes, jams, honey etc.Once we got home, we popped most of our purchase in the freezer.They tasted just as fresh once thawed.“

“I visited Brick Street Cafe this past Friday while in Greenville,SC for lunch. I had the vegetable quiche and it was fair. It had been over baked and almost cool when served. They are known for their cakes and tried their sweet potato cupcake. It was delicious. So yes for the cake!Parking: Park behind the building!“

“Needed a pie and wasn’t sure where to go since we just moved to the area!! I called The Bakery off Augusta and they were very accommodating! We needed the pie for the following day!! There is also a great selection of unique beverages and fresh baked pastries. Plan to go on the weekends and get a pick-3 selection from the taco truck parked outside called "Taco Mix." Their papusas are great, as are their empanadas.“

“Bossy Bakers is a fantastic local bakery! The owner and bakers are always warm, friendly, and very helpful. Their baked goods are very yummy--from breads and savory breakfast items to sweet treats and desserts! If I need a savory breakfast item, I love the hand pies! If I want something a little sweeter, I enjoy the Kouign-amann. It's difficult to pronounce but so tasty, like an inside out croissant with a crispy, sweet exterior.We enjoy this local bakery so much that we had Bossy Bakers make the cupcakes for our wedding, we opted for 4 flavors (dark chocolate, salted caramel, Italian wedding cake, and lemon lavender)--no regrets!“
