It was the potato but I subbed prosciutto instead of potatoes, yes nightshade allergy. It was delicious. “This place is great! If you're in Hvl and missing Never Blue, come here to find some familiar favorites and more. Blue Ruby is the cafe, open 10am-3pm, and their pastries are amazing. Of course you gotta try their Luscious Buns, but you should also try the Miso Almond cookies, a danish, or a Chocolate Croissant Loaf, all baked in-house! The service is super friendly and helpful. If you're visiting from out of town, they'll even help you out with recommendations and ideas of other things to see and do. Pro tip: If it looks busy in the cafe section, ask if you can sit in the Ruby De Noche room. It's got a speakeasy feel with lots of cool decor to check out!“

For dessert we got a brownie which was super rich with chocolate but good. The blackberry lemon scone was the best. Would certainly stop in again for a quick bite and treat.“
