“Great light fry on the shrimp and fish. Loved the black eyed peas and red rice. My wife and I loved the Mac n cheese even though that’s not usually my thing. This will definitely be a stop on the next trip to either Charleston or Savannah.“

“Our family of 4 dined at Station 17 this evening. My father in law and I each had the 1/2 rack of ribs, my wife had the gumbo and my mother in law had the fish sandwich.The ribs were out of this world. Possibly the best ribs I've ever eaten. They were moist and meaty with a great smoked flavor. My hats off to the pit boss. He's a master of his craft. My wife raved about her gumbo. The shrimp were extra large and butterflied, making them each worth 2-3 bites. The sausage could have been a little more spicy. Overall the gumbo was very flavorful and served with a large portion of jasmine rice. My mother in laws fish sandwich had a large piece of flounder with lettuce and tomato. She ordered a side of remoulade sauce that added a little kick to the overall flavor.The wait staff was very attentive and recommended the ribs as her personal favorite.If you've not eaten here, you have to give it try. We're visiting the area from Wisconsin and will likely eat here again before we leave. 5-Stars for sure!“
