“We walked into the restaurant hungry and irritable, but the welcoming staff and delicious food put us at ease almost immediately. Thank you, for a delicious lunch we will definitely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: This location is pretty wheelchair accessible my son was able to maneuver about in his manual chair and the seating is open and accessible as well.“
“This unassuming local favorite has a homey country diner atmosphere, delivered in a meat and three format (an entree plus two sides and a rice dish).I can unequivocally recommend their crab balls - they were delicious! On Saturdays they have a fried seafood platter that is full stop amazing, you get a ton of great food (crab balls, scallops, fish, oysters, shrimp) that is relatively inexpensive!“
“There are surely plenty of great fish sandwiches. You will not find a better one than Dave's.Parking: Parking is very hit or miss. Don't let that detour you.Take a friend, drop them off to order while you circle the block. Make it an adventure!“
“5 stars. You'll miss it from the road if you aren't looking for it. But a real low country gem. The food is great, and the service is authentic. I would not pass up a chance to stop in and eat when driving by. You will not regret it.“
“AMAZING! A must-visit for authentic soul food if you're in Charleston. We had the ribs, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and collard greens. Every single thing we had was sublime - and you can't beat the prices. There are a few tables to eat there but it seems that most of the business is takeaway.“
“When you drive up you're a bit apprehensive but once you walk in the door your whole world changes the food is awesome cooked to perfection the chef is at the top of his game and the service a smile every time I'm in Charleston I'll make it a point to be there“
“I was introduced to this establishment while on Military Duty, they have this restaurant as the contracted lunch spot for Army Reserve Soldiers in my unit, so after my first visit , I am now a faithful patron; the food and family atmosphere is the best ever!“
“Not here to bash at all ..... Because honestly I love their set up and the food so beyond competitive in flavor and I can't begin to say enough good things about the character of each person I encountered , very patient , respectful , and you can actually feel the family love from across the counter ,however the following morning I woke up with the runs really bad . The sad thing about it is I want more of it and now I'm a lil nervous to have a second go at it....“

“In town visiting and I just had to stop by Hannibal's Kitchen. I had heard so much about it. The art work was the first thing I noticed. Fantastic! But on to the meal. The food was delicious. My friend got the liver and onions which she said was tender, flavorful and delicious. I got the fried whiting platter. The fish was fresh, crispy and delicious. The sides were good too. So glad we made it there! Definitely stop by when you are in the area. Friendly staff too.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very kind and attentive in handling my allergy to garlic.“
