Times are hard and places are struggling, most often Mellow Mushroom is great. This time we waited an hour for our pizza and the order was wrong. Pretty hard to screw up pepperoni and mushrooms, but it happens. Still very friendly bartender and although another staff member offered to take something off the bill that didn't happened.

WOW!! WE FINALLY FOUND A FANTASTIC PLACE TO EAT DELICIOUS PIZZA and that's just one of the delicious items we tried on their menu. MELLOW MUSHROOM located at 1306 N Main St. Summerville has make your own pizza which is what we did. They also have 6 large Stone Baked Pizzas. We also had a ? Delicious BRUSCHETTA with their own Balsamic Glaze. If that wasn't enough for 2 people we also JUST HAD TO TRY THEIR CHEESE BREAD. Perfect for after work or with one of their salads. If you're a cheese junkie, it's the BEST. But really what good is a GREAT PLACE TO EAT without the other two components? Beverages and Atmosphere. Yep they have those covered. That just leaves to me the most important thing to me. How was I TREATED. AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY. Whoever passed out table, asked if we were OK?. Did we need anything? Everyone was so personable from our server, DAKOTA. We were there at change of shift, so we also had RHET, very helpful with all of our questions. Great timing, we also gave GREAT PLACE to the MANAGER PEYTON. After explaining new to SC. As we left we also gave our THANKS to IZZY (made our pizza). We will be back. See you soon. Debbie and Richie

Not totally sure what the problem actually was, but it took almost 90 mins for our table to get our 2 pizza's. We watched 5 or 6 other tables come in, eat and LEAVE before we finally got our food, even tho our waiter came by and told us that our pizza should be out soon. The manager even came by and said same thing. When we finally got the pizza thankfully it was popping hot. The manager acted like she had no clue what happened, but did give us a discounted meal, oh goody. I would only recommend the Summerville location if it was raining and you needed to be able to wait out a storm.

It is a very nice place to relax outside oh bring your dog they have bowls so the dog can have water . The pizza was very good we also tried the dollar specials they were great.

Salads were great. Service was almost non-existent. Daughter ran out of water and was never refilled. Had to ask twice for silverware and napkins. Then brought pizza and had to wait for plates while the waitress ran another table's ticket. Finally started eating the pizza and it was literally dripping with grease. Neither daughter would touch it. Husband ate a piece and couldn't manage any more. They did take the cost off our bill (after we had to get some one to find out waitress so that we could pay), but we had to take the kids to another restaurant for dinner after wasting over an hour here. Very frustrating experience. But the salads were good.

Arrived to go eat. The Host informed us it would be a 15 minute wait to allow us to even sit down in the empty restaurant (inside seating was available) the reason was to allow the servers to catch up. Would not allow anyone to sit at tables and made people wait in the lobby. I have no idea how the food taste but will not go back due to the lack of service.

Decided Mellow was for dinner. Jessica provided great bar service and take out for dinner. She is a Bar Star. Great service for all. Order was correct, service was excellent, and casual conversation a plus. Thank You Jessica.
Haven't been to one since about 2012 in FL. However it hasn't changed that much and it is still as good as when I went the first few times. Love the dough texture. The pretzel bites were good and the beer cheese was on point for flavor. Consistency was a little thin for my preference. It was a take out so that might be why. Will definately be ordering again or maybe go to sit outdoors.

We always love going to Mellow Mushroom for pizza and tonight we decided to take some friends with to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, we had the worst experience. We had a miscommunication with the drinks, the appetizers didn't come until we were half through our dinner, and we were never offered refills or more drinks. When the appetizers finally did come out the wings were cold and lacked flavor. Not sure if it was our waitress or the kitchen that led to the poor service and food but overall this location was a disappointment.

I am visiting from out of town for the weekend and was excited to see our family’s favorite pizza place was near our hotel. We placed an online order at 8:11 p.m. and were given a pick up time of 9:15 p.m. I arrived at 9:12 to pick up the order and was acknowledged quickly upon arrival; the hostess printed a receipt and took off for the kitchen, presumably to get the order. Thirty minutes later my simple medium pepperoni pizza was finally ready. I left feeling like y’all started preparing my order AFTER I arrived. An hour and a half for simple pepperoni pizza is too long to wait. On top of this, the crust was too thick and it had extra cheese on it, which we didn’t request. There are plenty of other great pizza places in the area to choose from that can prepare a pepperoni pizza in less than an hour (if not thirty minutes) and I’ll steer clear of Mellow Mushroom now.

It was terrible. Absolutely TERRIBLE! Looong wait for the food, still cold and undercooked (after I specifically asked for it well done), very expensive, and it was cold in there. I feel bad my son's birthday meal was so bad. Maybe the worst we've had!
