“First of all, to the person that said the Wasabi was fake. Real Wasabi loses its flavor in 15 mins. All of the Wasabi that you get her I. America is fake. You have to get Wasabi from Japan. So your research before you make a bad review. Second , how about go to the restaurant and get your food. That way you can get them to make it right. This place is great. They are super friendly and very helpful. Another thing. You don't get Sushi from a place like this and complain about it. Go get your sushi from a reputable restaurant that specializes in Sushi. This is not the place. To be honest Publix has better Sushi. I eat here at least 4 times a month.“
“I can’t say enough good things about Thai Cuisine & Sushi Bar. I was welcomed enthusiastically as soon as I walked in the door and I chose to sit at the sushi bar. The sushi chef is an absolute delight, and immediately I knew I was going to have a great lunch. We chatted a few minutes about my likes/dislikes and I put my lunch in his hands. My first dish was hamachi toro sashimi served over a salad of torn seaweed and delicate angel hair cucumber & carrots. The light dressing and fresh wasabi root balanced the dish perfectly. While he was preparing a take out dish, he offered me a taste of his beef tataki, which was probably the most flavorful beef I’ve ever had. I asked if he had inari, and he made me three different inari nigiri - baby octopus with housemade island bbq sauce & scallions, shrimp with Kewpie and rice crunch and ikura with fresh wasabi root. I will absolutely be back - maybe even tomorrow.“
“The atmosphere is not the best, but the food and service (thanks Christine) was excellent. The crab rangoon was so good. The rainbow roll the best I've ever had and the hibachi chicken delicious. You won't be disappointed dining here.“
“We decided to give Shiki Sushi a try this evening with friends. Ashley was our server & was very friendly, professional, & super knowledgeable/helpful. Service was quick, everyone’s food was excellent. Highly recommend - we will be back!“
“We ate at this beachfront sushi and burger bar for the first time. They have a nice outside space over looking the beach but we opted to eat inside where you're treated with walls full of cool local art.Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful in suggesting popular sushi selections. We opted for the crunchy tuna roll and the tiger roll. Both were delicious , fresh and presented beautifully. The menu is not extensive but the items they have are fresh and delicious. Though we didn't have the burgers, both they and the fries looked really good and were a popular choice amongst the other patrons !Don't hesistate to try this place for quality food and a refreshing change from " beach food"!“
“We were visiting Kelowna for a month and during that time I tried sushi 4 times. To say this place was the best is an understatement. Growing up my dad had several sushi restaurants and as much as I hate to say this.. this is the best Japanese food I’ve ever had, even better than my dads who received the highest rating form the Chicago tribune. (I’m the from the states) every bite was perfect. Its been a long time being to is full and happy!“
“I have never tried Thai food and I am a picky eater. That being said this place is absolutely incredible!! The food is amazing and the service incredible! I was literally asked if my drink wasn’t strong enough to let them know but it was on point! Omg make sure you go here for amazing delights! Can’t say enough good things about what we just ate. So so so yummy good!!!!“
“A great relaxed environment inside with views of the inlet. She crab soup super delicious and rich. Fried seafood platter was great. Lightly breaded. Not oily, not your average fish fry. Mussels were on point with a great cream & white wine sauce with diced tomatoes and fresh spinach. The price was for quality and portions were large. Every dish that came out looked amazing. We will return.“
“We had a reservation for 9. On entering the restaurant, we were not greeted by either of the two hostesses, who sort of ignored us. We approached the desk, and after giving the name on our reservation, we were led to our table. Not one word was uttered by the hostess. At this point, I was thinking the service was going to be bad. Within a minute of being seated, a bright and breezy waitress came to take our drink orders and go over the fresh catch of the day. She was upbeat, friendly and was able to quickly answer a couple of questions about menu items. Drinks ordered as were the various appetizers. They both arrived quickly, accompanied by a delightful basket of assorted bread rolls. I ordered the fried green tomatoes that came with 3 large blackened shrimp. While they were in no way greasy, the tomatoes were under seasoned and the shrimp a tad overcooked. Two in our party had sushi and said it was very good. Another had the she crab soup which was thick and creamy with a good amount of crab. The oysters were large and very fresh. The shrimp and grits came as a massive bowl, loaded down with shrimp, and I was told it was excellent. Other entrées ordered by our group included steaks, scallops over cheese grits, lobster tails and a house salad with grilled shrimp. Judging by the clean plates all enjoyed their choices. A couple of minor negatives, were were not offered refills of our cocktails or iced water, although those having soft drinks were replenished often. The Wahoo Fish house sits over, looking the marsh and the tables at the windows are best, so if this is your preference, I recommend making a reservation and requesting a table there. We arrived at 4.30, and it was not that busy, but the parking area was full already. The vacant lot next door was offering parking for $5.00, which the restaurant will refund after dining. Make sure to keep the parking ticket. Two other points worth mentioning, by 6.00pm the restaurant is hopping, with guests lining up to dine. Secondly, like most places in a tourist area, the prices are not cheap. So if you're not prepared to pay $60 plus per person, you best look elsewhere. Would I eat here again, I certainly would.“
“Me and my mom really loved our experience here, first chef Tu absolutely made our night with his wonderful personality and the food was excellent as well. Our waiter Rose was so nice! We had the lobster and steak for dinner and it was the best hibachi I’ve ever had.“
“Small restaurant. We walked in at noon. The dining area was empty. My 1st instinct was to walk out. No customers = bad food right? WRONG! The Teraki chicken and steak was absolutely delicious! The crab Rangoon was amazing! I'm so glad we gave it a chance! We come to myrtle Beach twice a year. This restaurant will be added to our regular places to eat!“
“I love the Grumpy Monk. The food was great this time but the service lacked a bit for me. We came for an early dinner and it was pretty slow in the restaurant. The server rarely gave us refills on our drinks, but that was my only complaint. I personally like the Grumpy monk location in North Myrtle beach better but the food was still great.“
“Service from Luke was excellent, although there was no host/hostess to greet us or seat us and staff was visibly overwhelmed. Sushi was good overall although I prefer when my Nigiri sushi sticks to the rice...perhaps they could use some rice wine vinegar and water for better stickiness! Strawberry spring roll was good but definitely needed a good dose of chocolate to balance it out and give it a deeper, more satisfying profile.“
“I am not a big drinker so I can't speak to the drinks or nightlife, but we were looking for a place for lunch after golf and ended up stopping here. Bars are not usually my first choice for food, but both the food and service were excellent. Our group ended up going back a couple other days during our trip. The bowls, wings and wraps are all really good. Everyone in the group agreed.“
“We love Aquinos... and Pj is freaking awesome!! Tonight's food was the absolute best I have ever had at this restaurant and we've been dining here since they opened as Miyabis/Kyotos (years ago!)#hachiyaMI #buzzyboothKid-friendliness: They always make it fun for the kids!!“
“I’m a local and I always love coming here the bartender Evelyn and the manager Nek always make me feel welcomed and that I’m just not another customer coming in to get food and drinks! If you are in the area you have to add this place on your list of places to eat their food is always fresh and always cooked to order on how you want it!“
“We sat outside on the back deck overlooking Murrells Inlet. Watching the birds diving for fish. Great views. The sushi was excellent The grilled seafood platter was very good. Also we had lobster trio. Everything was excellent even found room for dessertParking: All you have to do is download a little app and put your license plate in there and the server will give you a code so you can park for freeKid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendliness and the kids have a lot to look at“
“Catch of the day piccata was the best meal we had here in Myrtle Beach!!! Also the best dessert here being the tiramisu and lemoncello cake. Wish we didn't come on our last night because we would come back.Suggestion for them to add to menu- the piccata was amazing but a little small so I would like it served over or next to mashed potatoes or angel hair pasta.“
“Y'all made my Brother n law's Mom's Birthday the best. She was so happy and enjoyed her Birthday. This was the first Birthday celebration after her twin sister passed away. Our group had a wonderful time! Kate In the bar was awesome and went above and beyond to make our night memorable. And I can't remember the guy cooking our dinner but he interacted with us like a pro. I hope to see them in April. Can't wait to have fun when my sister and I celebrate our Birthdays there in April.“
“Matt at the back bar was awesome. He created a strawberry mojito that was out of this world. The chix lettuce wraps with peanut sauce were amazing. Loved the view with the open windows overlooking the marsh. Definitely coming back soon. A great place to celebrate with my hubby for his birthday. Thanks Matt. We’ll be back!“
“This place was amazing, we ordered appetizers and food, the appetizers came out quickly and was hot and everything taste amazing. We had the soft shell crab, crab wonton, and the Calamari as appetizers. We did not have to wait long and everything was coming out. I fully recommend this place. Also this was our third time and it has been like this each time we ate there. Again amazing from the time we enter the door, until leaving.AngelinaParking: We had close parking and did not have to walk a mile to get to the restaurant.“
“Only thing I kinda disappointed was the price for kids that's 7yrs old cost $15 same as adults. They ask how old was my kids. I told them 7yrs old and 12yrs old. Still $15 for each of us smh. Not complaining but why ask there age when it's gonna be the same as adults. “
“Yessssss!! I’m so excited that they just opened their Conway location ❤️. It was definitely needed! I had the awesome pleasure of running into Mr.J himself during pickup. Super nice guy and I hope his businesses continue to flourish. The atmosphere was nice and clean and the cashiers were welcoming as well.Might I add that the chef did their thing too. We received generous servings of hot and delicious food for a pretty good price. If you haven’t tried their new location… well any, then you’re missing out. We enjoyed their steak habachi bowls with veggies + mushrooms, noodles, & spring rolls. The steak was ??. Everything was! Our family will definitely be going back ?- TB“
“FOOD: overall the food was AMAZING. i don’t even know where to start. we got there around 5:30 and the happy hour ended around 6. we got two different sushi for $10 each one came with 6 pieces, so in total it was 12 prices of sushi for $10 which is great! our next deal was $5 for four crab ran-goons which came with this really good orange sauce! i definitely give the crab ran-goons a ♾️/10. next thing we got was the bang bang shrimp for $6 and it was so good! it had the perfect about of spice and crisp! our last appetizer was salmon bites with teriyaki sauce drizzled on top and it was a pretty solid portion for an appetizer! our main meal was the chicken hibachi which was $20. it was a huge portion and fed family of four!Server was amazing his name was andreas, very friendly and was very detailed about the menu! I love the atmosphere, we ate outside and it was very nice.“
“Best sushi place around! The manager, Lindsey, is always so friendly and accommodating. My family and I frequent here often. Every server we have ever had has been great. It's everyone's favorite place to go, especially for birthday dinners. The sushi is amazing! The apps are amazing! Love the crab Rangoon and the pork dumplings. All you can eat.... best value, beats any other sushi restaurant in the area. Will be back many times!“
