“We eat take out from this place often. It's a typical little Chinese place, seems like they all get there menu's and pictures from the same company around here but It's got good food and pretty consistent quality. If you are in Timmonsville or around it there's no reason to go anywhere else for take out. They have seating too, maybe 6 tables but most business is takeout.“

I would get shrimp fried rice, pepper beef, lo mein, wings, and a couple other foods.•Pepper beef is great, especially when mixed with the lo mein.•Lo mein is the same and still has onions in it, seems less oily than it used to be.•Chicken wings were good and still tasted the same, but different at the same time. Like some have the original flavor more than others do. “New Dragon is owned by a family that lives local to Lamar, with almost the entire family working in the restaurant. It's not uncommon to see the owner's children playing in the dining area or outside near the kitchen door. It's not exceptionally fancy inside. There are four tables inside that seat up to four people each. Usually however, people take their food to go. While waiting on my food or eating in, I would have to say that their most common served dish is Chicken Wings and Fried Rice. While I have had their rice (excellent, by the way!) I've never tried their Wings, and I don't have any interest in them. From observing the wings as they are packed and served to others I can say that the wings are quite large and the portion is very generous. Everything I've eaten has been delicious and top notch, and they're always ready to alter the order so it's just what you want. Typical portion size (pint/quart), for a great price!“

I tried the hibachi (drink included!) + an order of full size chicken wings (so crispy) no sauce, just house seasoning. Man that food was good! “I have been very hesitant to try this place because of the old building it’s in. Since my normal go to Chinese restaurant did not answer the phone, I finally decided to give in and try it. I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was good. Loved the egg rolls and lemon pepper wings. I will definitely try it again.“

“We ordered chicken & broccoli, shrimp lo mei, steamed pork dumplings, and vegetables spring roll, and took back to hotel to eat, we finished them very quickly because they tasted so yummy, my kid always loves shrimp lo mei, he likes small shrimps which are easily to chew, spring rolls are so chrisp that we finished them immediately after back and forgot to take pictures on it, chicken and broccoli tastes so great that we highly recommend if you have light flavor taste, chicken tastes very tender, broccoli tastes fresh, steamed pork dumplings are ok which we actually prefer thin wrap. The dinning area is clean and tidy, The counter staff chased out to give us the spring rolls we forgot to take when we almost drove away. Thank you!“
