Not authentic food. Some of it is ok. Not bad, but there are better options. Been here twice now. I think I'm done.

Been meaning to try this place out for quite some time and finally got the chance. Just wish I’d tried it sooner - this place is great!! Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Started with the salsa bar, which was nice. Lots of choices on the menu. Food came quickly and was delicious! This place is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area for Mexican food. Highly recommend!!

I'm picky when it comes to Mexican food (spend a lot of time in NM and TX) and I think this place rocks. Great salsa bar. Great food (though I find it hard to pass on the pollo poblano so I can't vouch for everything on the menu).

We got Maria’s special and oh my goodness- best carnitas I’ve ever had. Y’all- this dish is a must try! Not only that, but the service was incredible. We will definitely be back!

On a Saturday evening—-Seated promptly; chips out quickly; drink order taken quickly—-not my speed for chips and dip; chips were very hard/flavorless———as if these had been out a while—and not good temp at all; waiter (younger male with glasses) was very attentive and kind. The food was subpar, but the beer was cold; Blue Hawaiian lacked presentation—somewhat watered-down and served in a tea-type glass. (That was an astounding $10.50 —give or take). I wasn’t up to rice, so I ordered a bake potato with sour cream and butter. That was $5.50 and shockingly learned after- the- fact an extra $2.10 was charged for sour cream! Hypothetically, that blah potato cost me —-along with a tax and a tip on that—-almost $10 had it been the only thing ordered. My ground beef taco was quite flavorful, thankfully. My husband’s were the restaurant special tacos, and those were flavorful but could have been served w/ lime, cheese, radish, cilantro, and/or grilled something—-but bare minimum! Nothing was served with it. The proportion of meat for each taco was good; atmosphere was sort of a run-of the mill—franchised-like with country music playing (which was okay—just saying).

I have never had a bad meal or experience. The green margheritas for St Patrick's Day were a nice touch.

Atmosphere was very different. Music is catered to a “particular audience”. The food was average. Tables and chairs too close and just made an uncomfortable dining experience.

Great food. Typical Mexican food that is gourmet pretty. Salsa bar with several different types. Wide variety of dishes.

La Cienega Mexican Grill & Seafood was an average to below average Mexican restaurant. Everything was okay but it could be so much better. The quality was somewhat poor. From the tables too close together to the extremely cheap napkins to the very smalls containers for the salsa. There are better Mexican restaurants. We don’t recommend this restaurant.Parking: They offer free parking but since the restaurant is located at a busy intersection it’s somewhat difficult to enter and exit the parking lot.
