“Service was good, its a wonderful little restaurant, I still remember when it was the Bantam Chef many years ago. Unfortunately, the food we had today was just...okay. It wasn't bad, it was just kind of bland. Maybe just an off day, I've eaten there before and quite enjoyed it, but today was not great. I'm sorry.“
“Their gluten free pizza ? is pretty good. So far haven't had an issue. Their gluten free pizza only comes in one size and that is a personal size, at least to me it's a personal size! ? ? if you have gluten sensitivities and/or just more health conscious, I would recommend their gluten free pizza!“
“I must say that this pizza was the best I have gotten from this location in several years. The ingredients, the construction, the bake, the taste was top notch. Best of the best in this area and the folks there are at the top of their game.“
“I order online and pick it up myself. I'm currently addicted to the Italian papdilla. I've ordered it for a lunch more times then I care to admit in a review. The app tells me when it's baking and when it's ready. I never have to wait long once I've arrived to pick it up and the staff are always polite.“
“I tried this place after years of eating Pizza Hut. This is a local place in Clover. I ordered the garlic cheese bread, and it was the size of a whole pizza. They were absolutely delicious. Not greasy at all. I ordered the calzone, and it was huge! I had no idea it would be so big. It was completely stuffed with toppings, and it was delicious as was the marinara sauce that came with it. The calzone was not greasy at all. The sweet tea here is also very good. The wait staff are very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend Pop Pops if you are looking for a local pizza place.“
“We got a large cheese and a large pepperoni pizza and enjoyed them. We are new to the area and saw photos in the reviews of games. Unfortunately, the photos are 6 years old and pre-Covid. The games are all in disrepair. But the pizza was pretty good and the salad bar has good homemade ranch. We would come back and hopefully support a local business that may have had trouble rebounding after Covid and inflation. ❤️ We would love to see it look like it used to.Kid-friendliness: It’s spread out. You could bring. Card game or board game and play and it wouldn’t be awkward.“
“The manager Rita went out of her way to help me get my pizza order for my nieces birthday party. She helped me get the best price possible. She made sure my pizzas were done on time. An employee, Randy, carried the pizzas to my car for me. They were very friendly. They are my new go to spot for pizza. Thanks for the great service!“
“Here’s a review written by an actual person and not someone upset they ordered during a busy time and can’t handle waiting for food!Great place to eat if you’re looking to walk in and grab your pizza, wouldn’t do delivery in general because it’s a smaller area and I just don’t see it working well in a non city/suburb location. The staff is super friendly and the general manager Nick Craycroft is the best!! He’s really nice and will work with you personally if you need it, vs a lot of places here in Clover who just say they are to busy to chat or make it really hard to reach them if you have anything good or bad to say. If I could give it 6 stars I would, most of these negative reviews are from whoever was running the place before and people who don’t understand how doordash works! It’s pizza (and it’s fast pizza at that) so it’s not the best food in the world but the service is something that most clover restaurants should really learn from!“
“Kid-friendliness: Our children love Tony's. We have 5 kiddos ho have Down syndrome and they are always treated well by Tony, the staff and the patrons. This restaurant is a short walk from our home and most in the area know our family so we feel very much at home.Wheelchair accessibility: Like most locations in a historic downtown, manipulating our daughter's wheelchair in and out is a bit of a challenge but it is doable. It's also wonderful when those around us are patient and reach out to lend a hand.“
