Taco Express is the best Mexican food Brookings has! Everything is ALWAYS very fresh and made to order! They do not skimp on ingredients and you definitely get your money’s worth. My favorite is definitely the shredded beef quesadilla!! The beef melts in your mouth! Another favorite go to is Taco in a Bag where u feel like you are eating at a fair! Soo good-definitely worth the stop every time!
I absolutely love this place. Before coming to Brookings I never liked places likeQdoba or chipotle, but after going here I was absolutely hooked. The food is always fresh and hot, the staff is very friendly, and the food is very well priced. If you want quality fast food at a great price, this is the place for you.

I worked at the BP gas station where Taco express is for about 3 years and I ate this place on about a daily basis and never got sick of it. Great food with a great price. The owners are awesome people and know a bit of spanish which is great for the large groups of construction people who come in everyday.
