I’m glad they’ve had enough staff now to be open inside on Sundays, it was a big deterrent during peak COVID to know only the packed drive thru was available. (I’ve not seen it that busy myself since) Speed I think is good, with just recently a quiet day yielding a Super Taco combo within 3 minutes.The interior is functional, never seen it packed full, and sometimes a bit unkempt. Taco John's is a staple of the Dakotas and Wyoming. Potato-oles are the best. Tacos are better than the Bell, mainly because the meat has more flavor and the portion is more.
Food was excellent, no mistakes, made fresh & good portions. We did dine in on a Sunday afternoon, so we came during the after church/post-hangover-after-college-football-game crowd. We had a 30 min wait from the time we placed our order to the time our food was ready. We are patient people & understood the wait due to the circumstances (drive thru was long & inside was packed).
