“The food was spectacular. The flavors and presentation of the dishes were truly amazing. I will definitely be returning sooner rather than later. The service at the restaurant is always top-notch, and this time was no exception. It was our anniversary, and we were treated so special by the staff. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend.“

“Present: Morrie's is a top notch restaurant and the food was always amazing! It is a special treat to visit Morrie's and it never disappoints! The South Dakota poutine had incredible flavor...the ribeye is always so good and the jalapeno corn was fantastic! The dessert was a unique dessert (strawberry sponge cake), and it was impressive. I am not a big dessert person other than ice cream, but this is one of the best that I have had.On top of how good the food was, our waitress, Lisa, was a gem! She was a joy and was incredibly helpful! She recommended the poutine and I am so glad she did!We can't wait to go back!Past: Fantastic special date night! Food was incredible and the staff was extra kind, friendly, and gracious! We had a wonderful celebratory dinner! The manager and hostess started the evening off perfectly with their warm and positive welcome! The Morgan Ranch Wagyu Bone In Ribeye was phenomenal and a great steak to share! Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back! Thank you Morrie's for making it a special date night!“

“Wow, Lalibela where have you been my entire life?! I have never tried Ethiopian food before tonight and I have to say it's AMAZING! I ordered the combination platter to go with the meat sambusa. I have no idea exactly what was what in the platter, but that does not matter. Everything was delicious. The portion was huge. I loved the sauce the sambusa's came with for dipping. I also loved the way the food is ate with the injera using your hands. I can't wait to return. The owner was friendly and service to go was quick! I was nervous takeout wouldn't hold up well, but everything was great! Don't hesitate!“

“I like this place a lot it was comfortable and the service was really top-notch. Everything came out in a very timely manner during the lunch hour which was important cuz I was in a hurry but I did have enough time to drink a bottle of sake.“

“Last Friday we took our whole tattoo shop out to Carvinale to celebrate a good week with a guest artist that was in town, and to show appreciation to our awesome crew! While were there we had the pleasure of being waited on by a fantastic server by the name of Kaiden! This kid KNEW the menu and was happy to describe everything confidently and with a flair that delighted the table! Later we learned this was his first serving job and had just started recently. We had to write this review to tell the world that he killed it! Simply fantastic! As far as the food goes, it is without question just amazing! The preparation of the wide variety of meat choices is top notch. Tender and juicy, perfect shrimp, and I’m sure I don’t even need to mention the pineapple. The salad bar is also no slouch. We are excited for the next outing! Thank you Kaiden!“

“Excellent quality food. The Tabbouleh was very flavorful and the parsley flavor wasn’t overpowering. I also ordered baklava and a fennel tea cookie not pictured. I am used to baklava being covered in syrup in Chicago, yet I appreciated the simplicity of the baklava here without it! The texture and filling is delicious. What I do have pictured I ate a little bit of the portions. If I’m ever back in Sioux Falls I would definitely consider this place in the future! Great-tasting homemade Mediterranean food!“

“Fun stop for Mother’s Day. I was so disappointed the croissants were all sold out only 1 hr after opening (I have a croissant obsession). We had a chocolate mousse and vanilla mousse with mango dessert that were really great. I would go again just be warned that your favorites might be gone by the time you get there.“

“Hi there. I grabbed a late supper (7:30 pm) tonight (1-10-24) as I do many Wednesday nights after getting groceries at your east 10th location. I just wanted to give a big kuddos to the lady running the register and taking orders. She spoke clearly and with kindness. Respectful. Traits that young workers should have but often don’t. Please let her know, her parents, and the person who hired her. Well done!“

“Exactly as you would expect. Old-timey 30s and 40s atmosphere. Great service. Dependable fare. I had the half hot roast beef sandwich and coffee which was plenty. My spouse had the patty melt which she said wasgreat. Next time - the Reuben !“

“I’ve been to all of two bars in Sioux Falls and this is my favorite. Cute girls, handsome men, a burly bartender, lots of love for my pooch and wooks in the back. For simple traveler passing through, I couldn’t ask for anything more and made some friends along the way. Hats off to Too Hat.“

“Had a lunch meal here. I had never tried it and it was not busy. You are self seated when you arrive and then order at the front when you are ready. Then, the food was brought to the table. The food is conveniently given so you can package the leftovers to take home. Food was a cool variety of things that differ from the usual rice/noodles with whatever meat as well as tasty. We were in and out quickly and I am definitely wanting to try it again next time we are downtown SF!“

“This is the 2nd time we have had Tomacelli's Pizza. both times we were not disappointed. The quality of ingredients are top notch, If you order a Hawaiian you actually get Canadian Bacon not ham. and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and really work to ensure you are happy. We will be back!“

“Classic breakfast diner. Food was very hot, fast and well cooked. Husband had eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. All came out exactly as ordered. I had a great bowl of Irish oats. Nothing fancy here and not much for vegetarian eaters but if you want the classics they do them well. Great place to meet the local farmers and early risers.“

“The food was absolutely amazing. It's been a long time since I had Ethiopian food. I just remember liking it. This just was everything I'd hoped for and better. I wish I'd received some instructions on how to eat the food, but I just dug in with my hands. It took a long long time to get the food which wasn't optimal but it was well. Well worth the wait. Everyone told me this is the best place and I have nothing to compare to since it was so long since I went, but I can't imagine it being better“

“While in Sioux Falls picking up a new truck I ordered we decided to go try this place out glad we did. The half nacho we ordered was enough for the both of us to eat. They had ample seating which was a great thing since it was raining. The guy at the counter was nice and friendly with great recommendations. If we are ever in the area again we will be visiting again.“

“So far the best sushi in Sioux Falls. The quality of the fish is just so much better than the other places in Sioux Falls. Had the two tone sushi combo of tuna and salmon, just wow. Nice large pieces of fish on top of sushi rice. I would say they provided 50% more fish than the normal sushi places in town, and the flavor was spot on.A little expensive for an everyday kind of restaurant, but a great special date night kind of a place. Average cost $30-40 a person I would sayNote, this is a small mom and pop location, so seating is very limited.“
“This was our debut for the burger battles for 2024! My wife and i shared the burger, and a rousing game of cribbage! I love that this place has games to enjoy! I also ordered a light drink - deflation - which was delicious!Burger: smaller than expected but tasty? The burger seemed a bit heavily seasoned, however the toppings helped tame it a bit. Overall - delicious!“

“Excellent food, but I don't think there are any gluten free options and even if they do have them, in talking with the staff they didn't know the difference between wheat and rice flour. Language barrier. The wantons are amazing even though I shouldn't have ate them. They seemed homemade.Dietary restrictions: There is no gluten free noted in the menu.“

“This place was absolutely AMAZING! I was worried it was going to be another whitewashed Mexican place, but it wasn’t! Everything was authentic and amazing, the staff care so much about their customers and it shows.Their food? DELICIOUS! The tacos were flavorful and cooked just right. The rice and beans were top tier as well! I’d highly reccomend it to anyone who wants real Mexican food.“

“I found this little restaurant as I was passing through Sioux Falls! It's like a Cambodian/Chinese restaurant. I'd say it's pretty authentic. I forgot to take pictures of my food before I ate because I got too hungry! We started with the papaya salad. It was good! Spicy and acidic, just the way I like it. I wish there were more to it, such as tomatoes, green beans, etc. However, I understand everywhere makes it differently. My mom ordered the kung pao chicken, which came with a side of rice. She thought it was okay. There wasn't a whole lot of chicken, and the dish was very sweet and saucy. I ordered the Thai drunken noodles and I enjoyed it for the most part! I thought it was very flavorful. I just wish the noodles were cooked more and there were more veggies included. Overall, not too much to complain about. We enjoyed it for the most part and happy to see Asian restaurants like this in cities like this!“

“This place lives up to the hype. Low key, unassuming pizzaria with some radically delicious pizza. The crust on these personal sized pizzas is soft, chewy with a light crisp. Perfect red sauce recipe and inventive topping pairings. Wash it down with a beer or soda and smile.“

“I see all of these reviews and no one mentions that it is on the other side of Philips Street. I posted a picture of the door and hopefully that helps. On the other hand, I suppose that you could enter from the bar, Hi Hello (or is it Hello Hi). Basically, if you're on Philips Street, there really isn't a sign pointing you to Pizza Cheeks. Hi Hello (or Hello Hi) has a pizza neon sign in their window, but that doesn't really mean anything other than they maybe serve pizza because it sure doesn't say Pizza Cheeks inside. The NY style pizza is really good. It's a little on the saltier side, but I still found myself wanting another slice. And I probably should've gotten two slices, but I opted for the focaccia that is on their menu. It was bread. Nothing more. I ordered dipping sauces for it, but the bread itself was bland.“

“Did not eat any food on this trip to Monks, the Ambiance is great, it's inviting, cool, just has a great vibe! A lot of beers on Tap...50 to be exact! The bar tenders were friendly, attentive & helpful! I tasted 2 different beers that I hadn't had & ended up getting one that I'm familiar with! The bathroom was clean and I just loved all the different type places to sit from "L" shaped tables to cumfy couches, to bar stols to booths to cushy chairs & hightop tables etc. The music was different, but okay, upbeat, some rap type some pop or new age, but I enjoyed my visit! I'll have to come back anorher day for food!“

“Hidden newly discovered gem, we are used to being disappointed especially with chilaquiles but we were surprised to get authentic chilaquiles served with eggs and good beans, good salsa and gladly no yellow cheese or rice (that's not authentic, that's taco shop style) they also offer Mexican coke Good service and cool vibe, coffee was delish and my French toast was good too. Definitely coming back!l“
