“It’s amazing how two establishments under the same ownership can be completely different experiences on the same night. After a poor experience 10 miles east due to loud music (not the first time we’ve had that problem there) and a wild bachelorette party that had the waitresses’ full attention, we left before ordering and decided to come over to State Line. It was a much more enjoyable, relaxed experience where you didn’t have to scream at your neighbor, and the food was great too! And what’s funny is that there was also a bachelorette party a couple tables down here but you could hardly notice it.“

“We stopped and ate here on a driving trip (had heard that Buffalo Ridge Resort was a nice place). We were able to sample many dishes at the Sunday Brunch. Wow! It was the best food we have had in years. This is not the typical brunch food (nor are the specials during other times of the week). The Resort/Restaurant was purchased by a new owner about 6 months ago. They hired an Italian Chef to prepare the restaurant food (formerly a chef in several major cities & decided he wanted a more quiet setting). The food included items like Chicken Cordon Blue, etc. We are not typical brunch/buffet people but this food was absolutely delicious!!! Note that we have lived in several major cities world wide and eaten a variety of chef prepared food, and this was a good or better than any other. We will certainly stop again when in South Dakota.“
