I made a comment in passing about a food allergy, and ordered something that I thought was safe. The server on their own double-checked and came back and alerted me it wouldn't be. This gave me time to change my order and have a great meal .

Not a frequent flyer at Applebee's, so you can take my review with a grain of salt. I do, however, eat out enough to baseline my experience. The food is good, not great, not outstanding. Portions are fair and the menu options should suit just about anyone. The service was really darn good!

Crappy! Barely busy (maybe 20-25 people) at 1 p.m. and 5 servers working! Still took 15 minutes to get sat at a table by the bus boy. Took another 15-20 minutes to get drinks. Ordered food and then it was almost 45 minutes to get our food (3 of us) and it was so bad we couldn't even eat it. Wanted a manager and got tired of waiting so we paid and left. Don't ever go to the Applebee's in the mall!!!

Friday night 6 pm busy time. I STRIVE to avoid going out to restaurants at such day/time due normal high demand. Too many people and traffic.However, on this Friday night, I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant in the Empire Mall. They were busy, but no waiting time. Excellent server and service. Food was what we asked for and excellent quality and taste. We got our money’s worth!I would recommend this location
