I’ve felt sick since the night we ate there. Feaver and headaches. Just tried to eat a small piece of fish and some broccoli. I vomited it up. Its been a ordeal that started on Saturday night. We were seated without a wait by a friendly hostess. Then the waitress showed up and said “ Your’re not from around here are you? I said that my wife and I are from Florida. We are both caucasian with a Florida tan. It’s very sunny there. They call it the sunshine state. Then she stated she’ll be back. She finally took our order 20min later. Drinks and fajitas. Then she came back and described her personal troubles and I tried to encourage her. When she took our order she was twitching and bobbing her mouth open and closed with her lips tightly pressed. So after the table beside us got thier drinks first after arriving to sit 15min after we had already been there. I spoke up to the person who was bringing drinks. It was the manager. I said that we’ve been here 45 minutes and all we’ve been given is chips and salsa. She put our drink order and food order in and came back a second time and asked about the order again to see if she got it right. All the while she was twitching and bobbing her mouth and her shoulders. Well where I come from. They call those chicken heads or drug addicts. As I recall when I ordered my drink, I ordered a virgin piña colada. That’s no alcohol and she said that she’s an addict. That’s the term they use for drug addiction. If they are alcoholics they will simply say that they’re alcoholics. With all this being said. I would never recommend this restaurant. Absolutely deplorable. I have never in my life had an experience like this at a restaurant. Who ever owns this restaurant needs to be doing drug tests and get rid of the problem people. And I started writing this review while I was there. The manager saw the one stars. I just wonder why I started feeling sick after I got home from the restaurant and threw up after I tried to eat something today.

They had alot to offer but when associate was questioned about items it seemed they would repeat the same thing. So really didn't know what we were getting. But it was fine. Didn't get correct drinks, but drank it anyways because it took awhile to get drinks. Seemed like we waited a while for everything. Took awhile to even get the bill. So I would say don't go if you want it in a hurry. But food was good

Sat down for 10 minutes. Couldn't get server to clean off table but took payments that were sitting there. No bussers I saw. When he finally did come to pick up he gave me a dirty look when I asked him if he could please wipe off table also. We have never been treated like this before there. Decided to walk out then. I'm sure they were short staffed but giving me a dirty look was unascusable!!!

I wouldn't know about the food I decided to leave after watching 30 people get sat before my family. I called and asked if they were taking reservations or had a walk in style restaurant. I was told walk ins only to find out while waiting they do in fact take reservations. Disappointed because I was lied to by the staff on Easter.

The tortilla chips were very light, crispy, and tasty! The salsa lacked flavor, I hate to say, as the pico de gallo It needed lime and cilantro. The food didn't taste like the Mexican flavars we are used to, even with the variety of flair. I didn't realize that there were slivers of pineapple as part of the garnish, which I don't like. (I know, my personal preference.) Flauntas had a different kind of taste, than, I'm used to. And a couple of different "cruchies" in it. There is too much texture, I believe. My partner didn't like his enchilada dish, as well. The unexpected lil' dollop of cornbread was very delicious, very moist, and a pleasant, added surprise! And, I don't usually like cornbread, as it's usually dry! However, they nailed it on overall presentation!!!

The only complaint that I have is that the dishes were more spicy than usual. Chevys is one of my favorite places, but this time it was a little too hot to handle. The food was good, just spicy. Our waitress was excellent. The margarita and fried ice cream cooled things down a bit.

Great experience tonight. Our waiter Kaden was amazing! Wow… he was working so hard to make everyone’s experience the best. We come here frequently and this was the best food and service we’ve had in quite a while. Great job!

Chevy’s has been one of my top favorite restaurants for years now. However, the last two times I’ve been there the food just hasn’t been good. I have only two dishes that I ever order - the shrimp and seafood enchiladas or the flautas. A couple weeks ago I had the enchiladas and there wasn’t even one piece of shrimp in it. Initially I was very happy about this because I pick those out anyway as I don’t like them. However the ‘seafood’ that was in it had a very fishy flavor which is not typical, plus they had very large pieces of green onion mixed in, which is the first time they’ve done this (normally it has red and green peppers). The green onions did not compliment the dish at all. I love veggies, but never feel I can order them as a side as they always seem barely sautéed and overly hard, and just aren’t appealing.Last night my family ate there and my husband said the refried beans were crazy spicy. I thought that he was exaggerating as they normally aren’t spicy at all, so I tried them myself. My mouth immediately felt like it was on fire. At first I thought it was a fluke and maybe I got a bite where the seasonings hadn’t gotten mixed in. But unfortunately all of it was WAY over spiced - I like spicy food, but could only handle eating a few more bites mixed with rice. My husband refused to even try another bite. I had ordered the flautas… I’ll never forget the first time I had them at Chevy’s - they were AMAZING and I honestly thought it was one of the best dishes I ever had in my life! However, they’ve changed them since and now they are just so, so. They used to be thinner which made them crispier and much easier to dip. Now they are way overly thick and have a rather mushy texture. The flavor just isn’t there anymore. Authentic flautas are thin, and usually the crispier the better.Long story short, the changes they’ve made to my two ‘go to’ dishes have definitely not been for the better. Unfortunately Chevy’s has been taken off my favorites list, and I don’t ever plan on eating there again unless I’m with company who requests going there.
