April 2024 updateBeen back a few times. The darker beers and stouts are my favorite, happy to see there always seem to be some on tap. Tried their mash madness and loved it. Do recommend.Original reviewOne of my favorites for awhile now, waited to rate because Covert is known for sours which is not a favorite of mine. Still a favorite because the service is great, good atmosphere and location.

No clue how I haven't been here before, being from DTSF - this is a fantastic place to hang out. Dog friendly to boot! Everything they serve is amazingly well thought out.

I've hit a lot of microbreweries around the lower 48 states. My one irrational fear was finding one that had THE beer that I'd pine for and could not get in South Dakota. Recently I realized if I lived in another state...Covert would be that brewery. The stouts...the sours ....all rank at the top of my list. Owners and staff are fantastic.I'm writing this on a snowy Tuesday and I really want to go down there for a beer after work but they are not open. Good thing I have a few bottles and cans at home.Try them...you will not be disappointed.

As a real estate agent with the Dave & Co. Real Estate Team, my wife and I have a penchant for sour beers, and Covert Brewery in Sioux Falls, SD, has quickly become our favorite spot. This brewery stands out for its exceptional selection of sour beers, offering a range of flavors that cater to both sour aficionados and those new to the style. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a date night or a casual outing with friends. For anyone in Sioux Falls looking for a top-notch sour beer experience, Covert Brewery is the place to go. Highly recommended for its innovative brews and welcoming vibe.

Looking for a great Stout beer check this place out. Bartender was great and beer was even better. Barrel Aged Bon was great and my wife loved the Cinnamon Vanilla Pillow Port. Glad we stopped went home with some take home treats.

We had an amazing experience here. It was trivia night and they were pretty busy, but we were greeted from the moment we walked in the door, our bartender (black hair) was absolutely incredibly. helped us find the beers we wanted, chatted with us off and on, almost every time she passed us. The vibe inside is really upbeat and chill. We will definitely be going back soon. 10/5 stars.

Hidden gem... Was across the street and looking for the Monk Ale menu and this popped up in verified venues... We walked out , across the street, and found a slice of heaven. Get Halcyon promise (barley wine), vanilla bbc (wild ale) and fort mounds (stout), in that order, if available, and you won't be disappointed!

Always friendly staff, enjoyed the Watergate and Peach Struesel today!

Their beer is unmatched. If you like sours or stouts look no further, well even if you were to look further you would be hard pressed to find anything of this quality in a 500 mile radius. This place is amazing.
