“Applebees gave us a great dinner experience. I was here, along with our team of 90 from colorado, for an indoor track competition at black hills state. The staff was so helpful and helped our team have a fun and enjoyable dinner experience. Kellen was our server and he was awesome.“
“It was right around lunch switch when I brought my daughter in, and they were kind enough to let us order sausage biscuits. They even tasted fresh. the only issue I had was them saying they couldnt make a carmel frappe for us ....seems as if they only tell you something is broken if they don't feel like making it. “Went in this morning (Sunday July16,2023) for breakfast around 0845. And an elderly man in his late 70’s was there. He was so confused and asked the young man behind the register about 50 questions about different foods, what was on them, how they tasted, took probably 15 minutes to finally order only to have his card rejected as invalid. I paid for his meal. But the young man behind the register was so kind and patient, and polite to this old guy. When the young man got back to the drive up window, customers were screaming at him for making them wait, not knowing how genuinely kind this young man had just been to a confused elderly man. I hope all of Spearfish can hear about this young man and lift him up as a genuinely kind, patient, polite person to this kinda crazy old man this morning. Good on ya Spearfish Burger King!!!“

“Great food and blizzard, all those complaining about the incorrect orders were doing something wrong when ordering. I didn't have a problem ordering and I got my food fairly quickly. The person who provided me with a meal was extremely pleasant. I do wish I could have eaten inside, but that doesn't change my opinion. This dairy queen is king.“
“This place has a super fun vibe with amazingly delicious German dishes. The pork and sausage dishes were so delicious, as well as their potatoes and sauerkraut. Also, the dear loved hanging out around just outside the bar. One even came right up to the bar entrance!“
