From start to finish, every aspect of my meal was absolutely delightful. Firstly, let's talk about the coffee. As a self-proclaimed coffee addict, I am always on the hunt for a good cup of joe. At Café Français, they offer a variety of coffee options that are all expertly brewed to perfection. Now onto the food! The brunch menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. My partner and I decided on the eggs benedict which came with perfectly poached eggs atop a bed of bacon and spinach all nestled on top of an English muffin. The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy without being too heavy - just perfect! And last but certainly not least, let's talk desserts. Decadent doesn't even begin to describe the sweet treats available at Café Français. I opted for their Saskatoon Berry Cheesecake which was truly heavenly. It was light yet rich with layers upon layers of vanilla and berry goodness. Overall, Café Français exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The ambiance is charming and cozy making it the perfect spot for a lazy Sunday morning brunch or an afternoon coffee break. Even the garlic toast was terrible was rubbery toast no flavor and a half pice of toast at that I normally order the pizza and had the Greek lasagna about a month or 2 ago was amazing! They don’t serve appetizers between certain hours which is odd, but not terrible. The food is good, not great. Has declined in quality over time. Sunday buffet is popular. Options are good. Sometimes items like ham taste as if they were frozen. Scrambled eggs are a fail. A quality buffet always has fluffy, layered eggs cooked over a medium heat. Hard and bland unfortunately. Otherwise options like ribs, sausage and bacon are decent. Definitely about the staff and the atmosphere.muality of food is good, but not great and seems to be on the decline. Otherwise I go here with some regularity, so it can’t be terrible.”

Hot Pot soup is unlike any other are the spring rolls. Very unique recipe. Chicken Hair Nam is addictive. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful servers and food of the highest quality. They serve it with pride! Chicken fried rice is an old school recipe made famous by the old Lee’s kitchens and the OAndB Kitchen that used to be on Dewdney by the LB and Nortown bowling lanes. The chilli oil is made with star Anise and is to die for. Adds a nice flavour to any dish. Weekday buffet is priced right and the options reflect the best of Mai Phuong’s best items. Not all of course, but some real gooders. Atmomosphere is also pleasant, traditional and clean. You’ll be back again and again as will your friends and family! You will love it! Regina is lucky to have this quality business!”

“My daughter and i stopped for lunch on Saturday. First time to this restaurant. We had porn lo mien, blackened wings, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour spareribs. The portions were enough for lunch and leftovers for us both the following day. The flavor was the best I have had in Regina. Fish Pankora that tastes as fresh as if it was just caught, cooked and served! Many of the dishes are gluten-free or friendly. Hot marked as such for legal reasons I imagine, but feel free to ask the approachable staff about options. The traditional music, both classical South Asian and contemporary just adds to the comfortable,, pleasant atmosphere.. if you love The cuisine of India and an increble selection and variety of choices, this is a must! Watching him calmly and respectful help two community members that collapsed outside the restaurant until first responders arrived was beautiful. “This location has loads of parking which would make it easy to park smaller motor homes or vehicles towing mid sized trailers. Be aware that if you try and enter or exit this parking lot using the east access point you could have issues due to the extreme slope of this access road.

This location was clean and well maintained when I last visited. The staff were friendly and cheerful.

As usual the coffee was excellent. I always enjoy the coffee at McDonalds and take every opportunity to enjoy a cup of their liquid gold. In my opinion their coffee is better than Tim Hortons.”

The chicken is always fresh, hot, and crispy. There can be a bit of a wait at times, but that's because they're cooking it fresh, and it's definitely worth it. The quality has been consistently good every time we've visited. Highly recommended if you're craving fresh fried chicken!”
