“This place is still absolutely top-notch to go to as a coffee shop! The cats are friendly, well loved, cared for excellently and given great respect by the staff as well as many of the other customers; If you're like me wishing you could own a cat in your apartment or other place, it's absolutely worth the fee for the backroom! I would recommend calling ahead of time so you know when you can arrange a time to come in, as the place is quite popular especially in certain parts of the week. On top of that the coffee and hot chocolate is good too, though I don't think I've tried any of the food they have yet in the couple times I've gone.To summarize, if you're thinking about doing it, DO IT!Parking: Do be mindful that parking can be a bit tricky to get in busier times of the day sheerly for how busy Albert street is. I've been parking in the nearby lot whenever I go because they only have a couple street spots, and Excalipurr can only do so much about it as that's a city street. I haven't paid attention to if they have a rack for locking bikes to or not honestly, but I think it would make sense for them to invest in if they don't already have one.“

Pavel and Cathy provide great service, working together as a professional and friendly team. The atmosphere is inviting and guests feel right at home. “Found this place when looking for coffee shops. Stopped over in the morning and got an Americano and it was fantastic! Was so impressed I came back in the afternoon and had a dark roast French pressed coffee and it didn’t disappoint either. Great place and worth stopping in to enjoy a great cup of coffee.“

I thought some coffee making photos would look cool, and my classmate asked the staff if I could take them. We were told yes (and to tag them on IG). So these guys went above and beyond to humor me when it wasn't very busy. Hope the photos look good! And my classmate who doesn't usually like coffee really liked the latte. Top teir staff for endulging me, they all deserve a raise, and respect customer service workers.“
“Wow, first time being here. The atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant to me. Though it would be a bit more rustic and sticky. Which it is not. Was here with some co-workers.I had there club house sandwich with fries. So fresh, very yummy, and served at the right temperature. The service was great and fast. Will have to bring my spouse with me the next time we think to we want a club house sandwich.“

The Baba Ganoush was so smokey and creamy- perfect, and the Fatteh (first time ordering this) cannot be described…….I absolutely LOVED it. Now I am obsessed with Fatteh.“
