“We recently had Joe's European Deli & Catering cater a Christmas banquet for 75 people. Every detail was attended to meticulously. The food was delivered hot and on time. Everything was absolutely delicious. Gluten free options were offered knowledgeably and cross contamination was not an issue for those with celiac. Above all, every single person we interacted with, including Joe himself, was delightful, accommodating and kind. Can't recommend them enough. Five Star all the way.“
“On March 27th, I took my wife to Golf's Steak House for her birthday dinner. The meal was superb and the service outstanding. She chose the filet and lobster tails. To start we shared their delicious escargot. As usual, there were several tasty meal accompaniments including a choice of soup, garlic toast and salad. I ordered the individual chateaubriand which is a personal favourite when visiting this wonderful restaurant. To finish, they brought a lovely dessert that included two different selections with whipped cream. The presentation was gorgeous with a personal happy birthday message written on the plate. So, if you are planning a special event for a loved one, and you want great food and a comfortable and relaxing environment, we would highly recommend Golf's.Parking: In the evening, street parking is free after 6:00 pm. If there is not enough space to park by a meter, use the very large SaskPower parking lot behind their building.“

“Found this place when looking for coffee shops. Stopped over in the morning and got an Americano and it was fantastic! “Really good bbq. Not the cheapest at all, but a misleading amount of food with the solid meat combos. Usually I'll order the mixed bag of meats/Combo. That'll give you enough meat for 2-4, and sides. The cornbread and hush puppies are solid. Mac and cheese is good. Jalapeno poppers are expensive, but good. Fries are solid, but nothing crazy.All in all, good quality meat and bbq.“
“Enjoyed an awesome dinner with 2 friends at Crave a couple of weeks ago. It had been some time since I'd eaten there other than lunch, and the dinner menu was just the right sorts of choices. All 3 had beef sous vide and it was magnificent with the most delicious wine reduction and rosti potatoes, the appies were delicious, the wine list extensive, and the service topped it all! Pavel and Cathy provide great service, working together as a professional and friendly team. The atmosphere is inviting and guests feel right at home. “We are a huge fan o Dandy South, and was finally able to check out the new location in the East end yesterday once the hype was down a little bit. The atmosphere and the store itself is amazing, very luxurious feeling as soon as we walked in. We tried the new soft serve flavours Matcha and Ube, Ube is still tasty creamy as always, Matcha is a little bit sweet for my likings, cannot really taste the matcha flavour in there at all. However, the young lady served us yesterday ( around 1:30 pm Apr 27) was not friendly at all ( which we never experienced before in the south location. In south, we are always all the times welcomed with smiles and great top notch service) . We asked to taste 2 soft serve, 2 hard ice cream flavours ( we came in 3 people by the ways) , she seemed to be very unhappy and not welcomed us at all. From the time we asked to taste, then we paid, she did not even say a single word. Definitely need more coaching and training especially working in customer service environment. Overall, beside the unpleasant customer service, the ice cream itself is very very yummy. We loved what we picked!“

“I always tell people to go and try out New York Fries, if they haven’t already. They have such a great selection of food, from Poutines to Hotdogs. The Butter chicken Poutine is my favourite! “What is so great is that while we usually order once a month they remember me by name. Last night the very lovely young lady at the till recognized me when I went in and asked me if the kimchi was to spicy. “Flavor explosion! Years ago, as a young preteen, I remember some family friends, they made this dish it was liver, red, spicy! Tasty! And eaten with Injera, for years I have been trying to figure out what it was. Well I never it the liver, BUT I did discover the food. I got the mixed platter, and it was so good I couldn’t stop eating while driving. lol and if you know the type of food, it’s not exactly driver friendly. I eventually pulled over…. Closed it up and raced to my destination to devour more. Still got some left for tomorrow. I was born in Canada, half Filipino, but never really like North American food. It’s boring lifeless, tasteless. The other side of me Filipino, it’s good too, but this Ethiopian food is on a whole other level on its own, even the vegetarian dishes will blow your mind. “My husband and I were in town visiting with family and we were drawn to the little cafe since the day we arrived.There is no accessible entrance, but for those with limited to full mobility, there are only a handful of stairs to climb.The inside is a calm ambience with music that provides a very chill atmosphere.The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are also very knowledgeable of the items on their menu, especially since there’s so much to choose from.I ordered the chai rooibus tea with oat milk (this is caffeine free) and I enjoyed every sip. I also ordered the vegan chocolate mousse, and it DID NOT disappoint! It was rich but so worth every spoonful.My husband ordered the everything bagel with their red pepper cream cheese and he was very pleased. It looked quite tasty, unfortunately with it not being GF I wasn’t able to try it.
