“The food is good for the price. The staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The atmosphere is about what you would expect from a casual dining seafood joint. All in all I highly recommend if you need a quick, delicious meal for a reasonable price.“
“The best catfish I've had in years. My companion about licked their plate clean. Great tunes playing. Very friendly staff. The food is made to order, so expect to wait for it. Well worth the wait. If you are ANYWHERE nearby, make the time to go eat here. A special thank you to Chef Blaac. That man is making his family proud with his cookin'. His friendliness and welcoming demeanor can't be beat.Yes, we will be eating here more.“
“I go to Chesapeake’s often because it is close to work. They do a solid job with all their items. The bread is amazing. Menu is a little convoluted but go with it. My biggest mind blowing disappointment about this place is that I was recently told that the servers pay for your credit card charge (which runs between 2 and 3%). The owner makes them pay for this business coast. Ridiculous. Mr. Chase, how about just increase food coast 3% and call it a day. At least have the transparency to tell your customers on the menu what is going on. When I tip a server 20% for outstanding service why should they be penalized 3% because you have incurred a cost in your business. I think this is shameful. Curious what others who read this think. Maybe management needs to get our feedback.“
“Came here for a low key birthday celebration with a few others. It was my first visit, but I was pleased at the ambiance. Noise level was perfect, lighting was spot on, and service was great.Had the wood grilled Mahi and loved it with a lemon butter sauce. It was flaky and cooked expertly. The shrimp skewers were great. The drinks could've been poured stronger, but we were there for happy hour. They kept the bread coming. Think we had four loaves between us all.Bang bang shrimp is apparently their staple appetizer, and it was perfect! Great heat and some good twang.Loved the strawberry basil brownie! So good.I'll definitely be back.“
“This is a super fun place for a group gathering or for date night. Or as it happens, dinner with my 14yo son. TVs all around with K-Pop, loud, but not so loud that it is detrimental to conversations. I wish I could post the photo of the meat choices we had, but it isn't allowing it. We got the dinner for two. Although at first glance it looks like it won't be enough meat, trust me, that isn't the case, we took a lot home, and my son is a bottomless pit when it comes to any kind of steak/beef. I am allergic to seafood so I could not have the shrimp that came with the deal, so they substituted with chicken teriyaki, which I believe the waiter said was the only substitution option. Our waitress/waiters have all been EXCEPTIONAL! They understand the nature of how important hospitality is for Korean restaurants (yes, most restaurants do) but these went above and beyond. Very impressive to say the least. Very attentive, very knowledgeable and always had refills brought promptly, or even before asked. We do enjoy coming here and will continue to do you. SUPER YUM!!!“
“We had the special, which was the Delmonico Ribeye, baked potato, New England Clam Chowder, and an appetizer featuring calamari. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent! Caleb, our server was laid back, friendly, and all smiles. He was attentive without overdoing it.The atmosphere was cozy, perfect for enjoying an intimate dinner with my husband. Thanks to all at the Chop House!“
“The food was phenomenal. The seafood bread will knock your socks off. Our waitress was decent but once we got our food we didn't see her again. The only thing that I didn't love was the ambiance, they have "decorated" every surface in the restaurant by allowing people to write as they please all over everything with a sharpie. Made it feel unclean“
“It's a Mexican Seafood restaurant based mostly on the Pacific cuisine of the Mexican state of Nayarit. Lots of fresh lime ceviche choices along with other delicious seafood including shrimp, langostinos, tilapia, snapper, crab legs, lobster, octopus... The portions are good size to huge depending on what you get but the images in the menu don't do the actual food justice. It's rare the food looks better than the photos, but it does here. My only warning to folks who want to dine here would be that the language barrier is strong. I haven't met any good English speakers working there yet and outside of pointing to items you want on the menu, asking for a substitution or any other questions are not easy unless you use Google translate or are fluent or are with someone fluent in Spanish. It doesn't stop us from going back but it can be something to consider.Parking: It's in an old Perkins restaurant so the parking is exactly as it was but the entrance is now on the Kingston Pike side since the bar is where the typical entrance would have been previously.“
“I started visiting Firebird's for their meat loaf and they took that off the menu, so I started ordering the Cilantro Chicken and now it's part of a 3-course meal, and I don't need that much food, so last night was a very good burger. I've been very critical of the service at this Firebird's over the years, but we had Jaycie last night and she did an excellent job. One of the mangers even stopped by our table and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. My wife loves their Salmon salad, and she said it was good as always. With the menu changes, I'm not sure how many visits to Firebird's is in our future. I might try one of the pasta dishes.“
“Nice chain restaurant, as expected. Service was lackluster and over confident while not actually providing required service. Allergies were not taken as seriously as they should have been, and were almost devastating, if I hadn't noticed my allergen in what was brought. Drinks ordered before dinner sat at the bar while we waited and finished our food. Food was good and prepared as needed.Dietary restrictions: If your allergy is not a common one, make sure the server gets the kitchen involved so that you are kept safe.“
“Angela was such an amazing host. Chris was our friendly server. The food was to die for. We got salads and a ribeye. The corn and creamed spinach were delightful. Real southern cooking. This is our first time here and everything was so good. I can’t wait to come back for bluegrass nights :)Definitely a gem of South Knox. Come check it out!“
“Food was absolutely amazing for the price! People were nice.Atmosphere loses a star unfortunately because the tables are small, the chairs don't move very easily (or quietly) but it was clean in the lobby, kitchen and bathrooms.Wheelchair accessibility: The doorway may be a bit bumpy but definitely doable, the lobby and bathroom have enough space to get the chair through.“
“I'm not surprised to see lots of nice reviews about the manager here. We came in less than an hour before closing and the manager was extremely kind and welcoming. He made sure that we got hot and fresh food. This meant a lot to us, because dietary restrictions (pescatarian) keep us from being able to eat at a lot of fast food places. Thanks for making our evening with your warm food and hospitality! We'll definitely be back soon.“
“Celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday dinner here. We had great food and the atmosphere was very nice and clean. The best part of coming here with our family was our waitress Tyler. She was so nice and knowledgeable with the menu. We all had questions and she knew the answers. She was very personable and fun to be around. She also made sure we were always taken care of but not constantly breathing down our necks. She was absolutely wonderful and we all loved her. We will definitely be returning!“
“I was very impressed with the food and the service. I had the clam poboy. My friend had the fried shrimps. We shared the seafood balls for appetizer. All were delicious. I’m glad that they had beer. The staff was friendly and worked hard at keeping the place spotless.“
