After an hour and a half after ordering the bistro burger and side of salad, I asked if we were forgotten. I was assured we weren't forgotten and they were just really busy. I looked out at the 3 other tables besides ours that were taken, and said "ok." Soon after, she came out and asked what we ordered again. Clearly, we were forgotten. She was running the front, and cooking in the back. 1 person for the whole restaurant. Nice one, Marriott...For a $15 dollar burger, I assumed I was gonna be in for a treat especially after I was recommended to have a really good burger here by the front desk of the hotel. I watched her hustle around and grab a frozen patty out of the freezer behind the counter and take it to the back to cook, I presume. 10-15 minutes later we got our food. My friend got his burger and fries, I got... just a salad? Where's my burger? She apologized and took the salad, which looked good actually, back. Another 10 minutes or so she came back with my burger and side salad. The burger had no lettuce or tomato despite her describing it as having those things when I originally ordered, and had no real flavor to speak of. Below the average of frozen burgers, let alone a real hamburger. And the side salad was literally about 2 tablespoons worth of what seemed to be diced tomatoes from a can and low quality leaves. This was all paid for up front, by the way. Smart of them. I forced the whole thing down, my buddy couldn't get passed half of his. I ended up with the runs not long after getting back to my room.To top it off, she started bringing out burgers for some of the other tables and there was lettuce and tomatoes on theirs!!! Avoid this place, walk over to the Ruby Tuesdays. You'll be glad.

Cane down to get a cup of coffee. They advertise they close at 9:30 am but at 8:50, the bistro was closed and I couldn't get a cup of Starbucks coffee. I have stayed at much cheaper hotels, and had a full free breakfast, I expected a bit more from Marriott.

A great place to stay near the McGhee Tyson Airport Courtyard by Marriott is a renowned hotel chain with a strong presence across the United States. With over 1,100 locations nationwide, it exemplifies consistency and quality. Tennessee, in particular, is home to numerous Courtyard by Marriott hotels, including the one in Knoxville. It is on the south side of the road directly across from the airport. It is a 3-story affair with plenty of parking around the structure. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The hotel features excellent on-site facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a stylish lobby area. The Bistro, the hotel's on-site restaurant, serves delicious meals, refreshing beverages, and Starbucks® coffee. The room was clean and well-appointed. I ate at the Bistro. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Overall, Courtyard by Marriott in Knoxville, TN, offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay experience with its modern rooms, attentive staff, and convenient location. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this hotel is an excellent choice for your stay in Knoxville especially if you are flying out of the McGhee Tyson airport. It is less than 5 minutes away and easy to get to from the hotel.

I was with family here in two rooms for one night. We had to leave 4am . Items that were overweight for suitcase were left in the room. They charged me an extra night for two rooms and said this was Marriott policy. Never in my long life have I ever heard of this? Some of the staff were lovely but the person I tried to work this out with could only repeat the policy.

Cheyenne at the front desk was great. She helped me out when I screwed up my reservation, and was wonderful to deal with.

Flight got cancelled due to weather less than 24 hours before check in. Went online to cancel & hit the "modify checkin" button & it automatically checked me in. I called to clear this up & Julie took care of it. I still got charged & when I talked to Tisha to take care of this she advised since I checked in they couldn't refund it. So I got charged because of their website error. Absolute crap service To Business Manager Alexandra B: Thank you for your response. How can I get ahold of you to review this?

We booked a room at the Brand New Fairfield and when my husband arrived was told that no they were at the other Fairfield which is NOT where I booked a room. When they arrived at the other hotel and got into their room the TV did not work, the Phones did not work and the beds were so old they had huge massive dips in them that they couldn't even sleep. Then adding insult to injury they were told that if they wanted to eat breakfast they would have to pay for it...!!!???!!! Really pay for powered eggs and frozen waffles.....I don't think so, I have several more trips booked through Boyvoy and my rooms had better be at the ACTUAL Hotel that I book it for. It is NOT my problem they OVERBOOKED their rooms and then CLAIM that were at the wrong HOTEL. That is BS and completely uncalled for and Unnecessary. This is the WORST EXPERIENCE I have EVER had to deal with.

COVID aside, this place was bad. The hours for the airport shuttle are incorrect on the website so I waited an hour for a ride. Okay, I was still in it and ready for a hot shower and food when I got to the hotel. However the room was so dusty and dirty. There was also a pubic hair ON THE SANITIZING WIPES! What?! Yes, see picture! I pulled out the sofa bed and discovered all kinds of crumbs and nastiness under the mattress. The overall dust throughout the room was unreal. If you're sensitive to dust or have asthma, you wont be able to stay. The fridge and the microwave did not work. There were a lot of ominous stains on the walls. It was so bad and I just couldn't stay. I left and found somewhere else to stay last minute, only after making sure I got my FULL refund WITH a receipt.....mind you I was exhausted after flying all day and had not eaten. But I left this place, spending an additional 2 hours to get settled. I thought it was all over but I noticed a charge on my debit card (separate than my original charge for the room) . I had to call and dispute this and was on the phone with the hotel and also had to send an email asking why they would charge anything when I had not even stayed there or purchased anything!!! Not an experience you want to have while on vacation. I don't recommend this place whatsoever. 2 stars because the young lady at the front desk was nice.

Travelled with an infant and they were very helpful in getting us a pack and play and directing us to the laundry. Room was great- very clean. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast but it looked like it would have been great as well. Would stay there again if we're ever back in Knoxville.

We stayed to meet some family in town, and on arriving a little early I was allowed to go ahead and check in. The girl at the desk was friendly and helpful as was her trainee. They were all very pleasant and nice to us. As for the hotel there were a few minor hiccups but nothing bad. The pool was open but no towels, I requested a pack n play to the room but the only one they had was broken (but functional!) hotel has a little age on it but all in all a great stay. Trent at the front desk was the rockstar of the night though. He went above and beyond in every aspect. Brought towels to the pool, helped with the pack n play, gave my son a snack after we ate in the lobby. He was always helping guests, answering questions and doing everything he could for all the guests. People like that are what make us choose Mariott over and over!

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in as far as customer service. The staff was friendly and took care of all that we requested. (extra towels/garbage bags etc.) The hotel was very clean and quiet. I was very pleased with my stay.

The front desk agent was helpful, the room was clean (I appreciated the seating area in the room), I loved being able to sit in the lounge area with a fireplace to study and breakfast was awesome! ! !

Angel was above and beyond and Cheyanne was cool under pressure. It made a difference. We left feeling ready for the days drive. Only complaint was no heat in the hottub and pool. I would like to be notified at check in about that. Instead of wrestling suits on, walking down to step in and find out it's freezing cold, and then what I thought was another covid warning posted was a sign saying no heating element. Breakfast was good. Location was clean and we slept great.
