Best Southern food I've had in years. Tastes like the food grandma used to cook. Love the chocolate cake and the fried chicken livers and the catfish. Everything is awesome

We love Sling Shot Charlie’s! So DELICIOUS!! I had the catfish fillet, purple hull peas, and onion rings. The onion rings? Melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness! Purple hull peas? Just like my grandmother’s! Yummy! Catfish fillet? Perfection! Only thing I didn’t care for were the hush puppies. They just didn’t have any flavor. They were big and well cooked. I had the best smoked ribs that I've ever had in my life today. I couldn't believe these were baby back either as they had lots of meat on the bones and almost no fat and gristle. I'm not much of a sauce guy on ribs but I took a chance today because the pictures looked so good. I'm so glad I did. The ribs had a smokey, slightly spicy, very sweet taste with the sauce on them.
