8 years later and this is still my go to spot. I happily drive 50 miles for this experience whenever I can. It's like Chipotle but wayyy better, and they actually have chipotle sauce. Best ingredients, Best salsa bar, and authentic. If Chile Burrito was a religion, I'd be an Asada Priest baptized in Holy Guacamole Image:

Chili Burrito is right around the corner from my apartment. They have great burritos and Tacos. Their food is always fresh and flavorful. Their portions are always generous, and their prices are very reasonable.I have placed to go orders for large groups with them too, and they never disappoint. Their food is always hot even when it is ordered in large quantities, and it is always crowd pleaser.Whether you are having a party or need just need dinner, this place is a great option!Kid-friendliness: It looks like families and groups of teenagers eat in the dining area often.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, you can roll a wheel chair right through the front door, into the line where you order / pickup food, into the dining area and back out without encountering steps or other obstacles.

One of our favorite places. This visit the table was so dirty I stuck to it. I'll still be going back.

This is a pretty simple no frills place with counter service and self serve drinks so why is it so often packed? Because the food is really good. I had a 12" grilled steak burrito and it was delicious. You choose your own fillings ( lettuce tomato onions etc) then it is folded, grilled and wrapped in aluminum foil. Truly delicious, tender beef, fresh veggies and grilled to perfection If you're in Brentwood definitely worth stopping here, it may even be worth a special trip!

I have frequented this establishment since my youth, making it a cherished culinary destination in this locality. A visit to this restaurant is a family tradition whenever I reunite with my parents, an experience steeped in nostalgia and cherished memories. The consistently delightful cuisine has never failed to impress, ensuring a satisfying dining experience each time. While my admiration for this restaurant remains unwavering, I've observed changes in the area's ambiance, occasionally marred by a sense of aloofness among the locals. I acknowledge that change is inevitable; however, attributing personal dissatisfaction to minor inconveniences should not reflect poorly on the exceptional customer service provided.Despite these observations, I maintain a deep fondness for this place, anchoring it as a beacon of comfort and tradition. I sincerely hope that Chilli Burrito continues to thrive for years to come, preserving its culinary excellence and warmth. Grateful for the cherished moments and culinary delights provided by this establishment.

Such a delicious meal! We had a large group and everyone fully enjoyed everything. Fabulous ingredients and flavors. Also really generous portion sizes. We stopped by for the first time but we will definitely be back very soon.

Pro: food did taste good. Con: service... mostly how they approach. The workers preparing your order should NOT voluntarily offer toppings that are an additional fee (the menu does not say what automatically comes on there). When I simply asked why my order came out so much, in an inconvenienced tone I was advised of the toppings... well the problem with that is I was offered them as if they automatically came on there with the exception of one. I know I'm only one person, but they won't get my business again based off this interaction.

Every once in a while you stumble upon something and you wonder why you hadn't been there before. Such is the chase with Chile Burrito. I mean, it's not like it's hidden or hard to find, I just hadn't been into the unexpectedly large retail area that it's located in until recently. What I didn't expect to find from its rather unassuming store front was AWESOMENESS.The first thing you notice is color. From the mural on the wall to the streamers hanging from the ceiling to the chairs that are all kinds of colors, Chile Burrito is a festival of colors from the second you walk in the door. The menu is laid out on chalk boards above the food area, hand written in various colors of chalk. The menu options are huge and run the gambit of all of your Mexican favorites from tacos to burritos to quesadillas to bowls, each available with a protein (or two) of your choice. Like other fast casual Mexican eateries, as you go down the line you add the ingredients you want to suite your taste. Some come with an upcharge, some don't. Items that come with an upcharge are listed on the menu board above. It isn't hard or confusing at all. While some reviewers state confusion about how/where to order, I have to wonder why. Have they never been to QDoba? Chipotle?Along with posting a photo of the menu, I've also included a close-up of one particular section of the menu. Consider yourself challenged. My choice was a chicken bowl with cilantro-lime rice, add some fajita veggies and sour cream. A side of chips and salsa, of course, because this meal needs to be well-rounded.One nice thing is the salsa bar, with five different salsas of different varieties and heat levels. I tried all five and found my favorite to the three-pepper Tomatilla d'arbol. Nice flavor, a little smoky, and just enough heat to let you know it's there. My food was great. I don't know what kind of seasoning or marinade they used on the chicken but it was amazingly good and very moist, not dry like some other places. The chips were good but a bit thick for my taste (nothing I'd take any points away for), and worked well with the various flavors of salsa.During my roughly 40 minute visit the dining room and trash were tended to a couple times and the salsa station and drink station wiped down to keep them clean.During my monthly visits to Brentwood I'm always on the lookout for great places to eat. This one just go added to my rotation.

This place is visually appealing and has a nice atmosphere, but the food is honestly just not that good. I got a steak burrito and it didn’t even taste like steak. Not to mention that the food hurt my stomach before I even finished my meal. Likely won’t go back.
