“There are angels that work here. A dramatic situation with my husband left me in tears with my three kids as we were eating dinner here - their favorite restaurant. An employee came over and very respectfully said she knew it wasn’t her place, but asked if everything was ok after my husband walked off, asked if I was good, and if I needed anything. I so appreciated this! I didn’t even realize we had drawn attention, but so grateful for this concern ? Another employee came minutes later with a cookie and said, “We hate to see people cry. God bless you.” I’m blown away. This is the community we need in hard times like these. I will never forget these acts of kindness and the love I felt from total strangers in the staff of Jason’s Deli ♥️ My kids have even been talking about how nice those people were.. What an example to them. Well done.“
“Fantastic deli in Nashville! Looking for a good sandwich and this place looked unique. It’s an old machine shop turned into a shopping center. They have coffee, gift shops, and other shopping. The Southern Engine Deli is awesome! I had a Reuben sandwich with a delicious tortilla soup. Highly recommend this place.“

“Cozy sandwich shop, friendly service as soon as you walk in the door. The Philly on a wrap is really tasty and my wife loved the BLT. "Atmosphere" got 4-stars because the fountain drink machine was broken and there was no free option for a cup of water. The only bottle water option they had was Dasani (hashtag vomit ?) Overall this is a great place for a quick bite and within a few easy steps walking distance from Broadway.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly unless you go ask the way around the block to a different entrance into the building and then back through aforementioned building to get to the sandwich shop.“
“Awesome deli just outside of downtown Nashville. It was very crowded but we got seated quick. The service was really good.Sandwich was delicious and the matzah ball soup was good. Highly recommend. This comes close to the authenticity of a NYC deli.“
“I stopped by the store with my mother, since it is local in Westhaven. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. I definitely recommend anything with the chicken salad! Everything was very fresh and tasted exceptional.The only limitation is that the store has limited seated, but there is a ton of public seating a short walk away around the lake!I would highly recommend this location and will definitely be going back!“

They have a pretty big selection and for the price the food is definitely worth it.If not for the food, you should go for the two very nice ladies who run the place. Great, friendly service, and a solid lunch spot if you're nearby.They have sandwiches, salads, chicken strips, and some Asian items like egg rolls and dumplings. I had the California Club and it was good and fresh.“

“Bought a ham, three sides, and a pie for the holidays that were great with easy heating instructions. Line went very quickly (I pre-ordered), and everyone at the counter was super pleasant. There was also a woman greeting everyone as they were coming in! I enjoyed a great holiday atmosphere; will return for sure!“
