“My husband and I came on Sunday during Rthymn and Roots. Our Jamaican Jerk Chicken was excellent. It is one of my favorite dishes. The fried okra reminds me of something my grandmother would make. It’s delicious and classic southern cuisine. Based on the increased demands from the festival; the staff handled it very well! The customer service we received was above and beyond what we expected under these conditions. I hope the staff are able to get some rest after this. Thanks for the great food and service!!!”

“My wife and I recently visited J Frank after hearing great things and having it on our list for a while. We made the short trip to Bristol with high expectations, and while there were certainly highlights, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming.

We started with the trout dip, which was delicious and easily the standout dish of the evening for me. The cocktails were decent—not exceptional, but still enjoyable.

For my entrée, I ordered the 14 oz. New York strip, which came with a Caesar salad and duck fat roasted potatoes. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was surprisingly basic, lacking the depth of flavor I typically expect from a fine dining establishment. The steak itself was overcooked and didn’t carry the richness or seasoning I had hoped for. On a more positive note, the potatoes were excellent—crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared.

My wife chose the sirloin and crab cake entrée with creamed corn. Her sirloin was cooked beautifully and packed with flavor—she considered it the highlight of her meal. However, the creamed corn had an overpowering nutmeg flavor that didn’t quite work for her palate.

For dessert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was good, though at a $10 price point, it didn’t quite stand out in the way we hoped.

Overall, our experience was good but fell short of the elevated expectations we had going in. That said, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was charming and well-executed. While it may not become a regular spot for us, we wouldn’t rule out giving J Frank another try in the future.”

“Waited for a bit for a server but it was worth the wait. Brittany took great care of us! We had the Pizza Rockefeller & Filet bites. Both were tasty but the Filet bites were the bomb! They were so good we ordered the 9 oz filet w/ mushrooms to go & the wings. The guy behind us had the wings and they looked amazing & huge! So glad we found this place on our travels. Cold draft beer too!”

“My goodness, I’ve been coming to Mad Greek for years and it’s always amazing. This year has got to be one of my favorites ! Valentine’s at Mad Greek Bristol is the place to be. From the beautiful atmosphere to the great service and delicious food. The Cupid special was out of this world. How do you get two steaks and a bottle of wine for 69.99 anymore, not to mention they were perfectly cooked! We got spinach dip for the appetizer and it’s the best I’ve ever had! You can’t get that kind of deal with quality food anywhere anymore! Definitely a Bristol staple!”

“As a youngster, I played pool in Bristol pool halls. I may date myself, but they had spitunes that were missed frequently. I also visited several other pool rooms growing up. All I can say about this new venue is.WOW!! JANET has done a spectacular job that will make this a Bristol destination! First class all the way.”

“I met a friend for lunch since it's her favorite lunch spot. I was surprised there was already a line at 11am. We both ordered 'the chick' & I opted for a scoop of the new Maui mama & a scoop of lemon basil. They were both fresh & delicious. Unfortunately, both my friend & I felt there was something wrong with the pickle wedge. It actually had a bit of a pesticide odor. She ordered the Fancy Nancy with broccoli salad & was very happy with both of her selections. I would definitely return to this location, but I'll probably skip the pickle next time.”

“At first we wanted just the calzones, but the more we looked at the menu the more we wanted. The garlic knots with cheese are absolutely above any thing else we've had anywhere else. The calzones were amazing as well and they are huge, my wife and I got the mediums and I couldn't even finish mine. Overall score 100 out of 10 definitely going here again.”

“I go here all the time with my Mother. I've never felt more welcomed and genuinely appreciated than here.

The service it's top notch, it is far above and beyond anywhere else I've seen. It's so good, in-fact, whenever I eat somewhere else I almost feel guilty as I never experience a fraction of the same service anywhere else.

The food is, generally, pretty damn good too, especially for the price!

She was so wonderfully sweet!! She took the time to explain the menu, what she recommended and to tell us about their ingredients. Def recommend Drakes in Bristol, TN!!”

“The only reason it gets only four is the pricing 😕😞 but Arby's is always a good meal and guaranteed to fill you up!! The quality of food is light years ahead of McDonald's or Burger King and more so McDonald's and for this particular restaurant great 👍👏 clean fast fresh food every single time I've ever went and in the years I have been going they have only messed up 1 sandwich so that's a 100 A+ in books inside is clean aswell as bathrooms and soda machines!”

“I visited the Starbucks @ the Volunteer Pkwy location today Thurs. 07.25.2025.
I want start by saying that in my opinion ever since the covid pandemic I have felt that most restaurants (but not all) have really been lacking in several key areas when it comes to the customer service. It just seems that the care, drive and in some regards the dedication to make sure a good product is presented to the customer has been lost somewhere along the line.
But, today I saw a very refreshing change in my perception of that. They were 2 employees working today @ the Volunteer Pkwy location and in the midst of them both being completely slammed with customer orders and drive thru customers they both took the time to greet me and fulfill my requests and give great recommendations on new and upcoming products. Ive never been a huge fan or patron of any Starbucks locations. But after having such great service and experience from Caleb and Kaye @ this location I will definitely be making this Starbucks a top choice on my goto lists of restaurants in the Bristol area. Thank you again so very much and keep up the excellent work!!!😁”

“After Driving 3 hours it was a breath of fresh air to have Malissa serve us. Just a Fabulous Team environment. One of the employees was getting off and went out of her way to assist us until Malissa could get to us. TEAM WORK. The environment was clean the Cook was very organized and the food came out quickly. The flavor of all the food was excellent. Just an awesome environment and experience at this location.”

“Went to Pizza Plus on Weaver Pike in Bristol, TN yesterday (06.27.2025 ) to celebrate a birthday and had the best time! The food was excellent, the waitress, Victoria was AMAZING and the family time was coveted.  9 of us. They handled us like the pros they are! Especially our waitress Victoria. This lady was absolutely on top of her game!! (The whole store was to be honest!)
We didn't want for anything. She was funny and friendly and as sweet as she could be and one of the best waitresses I have had in a long time!
It was such a great visit I just had to give them credit where credit is due! Victoria and the Manager ( I didn't catch her name) took the time to offer and then to take pictures for us and I appreciated that more than they could possibly know. The cook(s) did an excellent job! We had a pretty large order and it was PERFECT and we all left stuffed and happy. Please pass this on to them and thank them for us all one more time!”

“Visited tonight, seemed to be a after Church rush inside and the drive thru was wrapped around. What I noticed from the staff was outstanding, you could tell it was a absolute overwhelming time. Those young folks handled it with calm and stayed focused on getting orders out timely. Noticed the person working the window, also overwhelmed but handled the rush very well!!!! All of them deserve a bonus.”

“I'm posting this about the Bristol location. There's a certain group of people who come in and sit at a bar table in the corner. I've seen this happen twice when they arrived orher customers had been seated at the table they like. Prior to receiving food the other customers have been asked to move to another table so this special group (they think they are )can have their regular table! I'm so upset that they let this happen especially management! I would have refused to leave the table if I was already seated. This is just ridiculous and I did make comments about it to our waitress and loud enough for the special group to hear. I never knew we could make people move at their table if we waited to sit there at Applebee's but they did last night and it's not the first time I've seen it. I may not ever go back.”
