The ambience here is just next level—modern, stylish, and still very warm and welcoming. It feels like the kind of place that’s perfect for a date night, special occasion, or just treating yourself. Our server, Carson, was phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu well—he made great suggestions and made sure everything was perfect the whole evening. We also loved all the sides and the way everything is served—it’s such a fun and interactive dining experience. The drinks were also top-notch and paired so well with the meal. If you’re in Chattanooga and looking for an unforgettable dinner, Zaya is a must. We’ll definitely be back!”

I happen to be looking at a Chattanooga magazine at my daughter‘s house while visiting last week and ran across a little feature on the Bluegrass Grill. Knowing I would be taking one of my daughters to lunch for her birthday while visiting, this sounded like the perfect place to try. And by golly, it certainly was the perfect place! Both of my daughters and I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and were pretty picky about our hollandaise sauce. My three grandsons enjoyed their pancakes and French toast and one took a chance at the jalapeño bacon and loved it. My daughters have lived in the area for several years but neither had been there before. I know they will be back and so will I during future visits! And reading the story behind the grill. What a blessing your history has been to so many people! Thank you for your compassion and your heart’s mission. That made the visit to the Bluegrass Grill even more special! God Bless you all!”

“I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.
She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.
This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.
Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

If you are offered a seat at the bar take it! 10/10 recommend! To the manager, I hope you know you have a great staff, which is rare these days. My water glass went dry. At first, ok, then long periods of time between table visits. Ordered coffee when we got our desserts. Never came. Didn't say anything, as we'd been there well over an hour and a half, time to go. Waitress very nice, maybe having a bad evening, or new, could do better. Was still tipped well. We were so happy with our decision to come there. We will be back over and over again. The food was some of the best we have had and the entire service staff was so friendly. As someone with celiac disease, this was an entirely safe, comforting restaurant that made me truly feel that Gluten free food can be not just edible, but true artistry.”

“The gentlemen behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. We got two of the plates, and while they said it would be a ten minute wait, I do not believe it took more than five or six.
My daughter got the shrimp with regular sauce, and I got the crab & lobster with spicy sauce. When I asked if the sausage was pork, was told it was, so I told my daughter she could have mine. The lovely gentleman said he could substitute two eggs for the sausage instead.
I want everyone to know that the spicy sauce was truly DELICIOUS! It was just the right amount of heat without being distracting or overpowering, and the taste was phenomenal! After reading the great reviews, we drove down from Soddy, and it will NOT be the last time we make that drive.
The amazing flavors were well cooked into every bite, and the portion size was enough for both of us to have leftovers tomorrow.
They do have seating for four, but it appears to be mostly take out business. There was a TV in the customer area, and there was good music playing while we waited. It was absolutely worth the wait to get back home!

“Welcome to the sushi bar of the South! The sushi here was the BEST sushi that I have had since moving from New York! Here, I felt like I was at a sushi bar in mid-town Manhattan. I never had authentic ramen before and I ordered the spicy crab ramen. It was so good. I don’t like an “over-powering” spice, but a medium “kick” so you can taste that spice is “there.” That was exactly what I got! It was a “perfect” blend of spice and the crab was tender, flavorful, delicious. I would recommend this ramen dish! Service was 5-star! Felt completely catered to! Ask for Annika. You will be happy you did. She is amazing! I cannot wait to come back to Two Ten Jack!”

The sauce that came with the duck confit was a reduced port wine sauce. Sauce on the filet was a cognac reduction. The sauces is really made both dishes.”

“I planned an event for a group of young girls and every single staff member went above and beyond. The manager was incredibly patient and kind and checked on my group periodically throughout the evening to make sure we were okay.
At one point we were playing laser tag with 2 older kids, and as soon as one of the older kids said something distasteful to one of my girls one of the staff members shut it down immediately.
They really did a good job helping me plan the event and even taking care of us once we were there.”

“during the floods last week I decided to try it, despite it pouring down raining, ordered a bag to go, I SPECIFICALLY said no pork sausage in it (health reasons) I get all the way home and guess what's in it? 😡 So I had to give it away, I called them and the young lady apologized and said if I bring it back (30 min drive in floodwaters) she would give me another, or if I came in later she would replace it. I came in today (with receipt) to get it and the manager told me she could only give me a 25% discount. The service is bad and the food is mediocre never again.”

“I’m from Maryland and my family mentioned this food truck. I stopped by with my mother for the ribeye tray and strawberry lemonade. When we opened our food we noticed the shrimp wasn’t there. It was a distance , so we didn’t go back. I recommend checking your plate before you leave. The food tasted scrumptious. I would order this takeout again. For 2 plates and 2 lemonades it was $91. It was pricey. Maybe they can offer someone to bring your food to your car since there was not eating seating to wait for food or a system that let you know your food was ready. You had to keep going up to see if your food was ready.”

“Great Saturday evening dinner for 3 of us. Our server Ashley was friendly and attentive. We had hot appetizers of spring rolls and a breaded shitake mushroom dish. For dinner we all had different dishes, from roll sushi to sashimi to hot entrées. Everything was delicious.
We had made a reservation a couple days earlier, and had no wait at all. It was not crowded, and probably only half full.
I've seen people comment on the cost. Our meal was $113 before tip, which I think is reasonable for good quality food in a downtown location. We don't drink so that keeps cost lower.

When we reached out to Chef Ashford, he offered to cook for us in our AirBnb as the restaurant was not ready yet. What a wonderful dinner. We had an excellent chef’s table meal in our own “home”! “I stopped here in May with a friend when traveling through Chattanooga. we were not familiar with Honduran food and we’re hesitant even after entering the restaurant and reviewing the menu. we bought a meal to split and were incredibly surprised at the beautiful flavors we experienced. Every thing we were served was so delicious! I don’t know how they make something as simple as rice taste so amazing but - wow. The place was very clean the staff friendly and the food out of this world. if this restaurant was in our town it would absolutely be our favorite. Do yourself a favor and eat here if you can. The Red Marina sauce and the meatballs are so spicy they will make your eyes water and your nose run. The garlic knots were just soaking in olive oil and butter so bad I could of rung them.out like a wet dish towel. I had a GI tear a few months ago that I almost lost my life to, and this definitely triggered my stomach issue. Then on top of that Our pizza costed almost $32 dollars, they had a TEENAGER as a manager and he was trying to get us to order a salad or appetizer in place of the pizza so he didn't lose money on their lousy nasty food,rather than refund us our money back, which we weren't refunded our bill. I WILL NOT EVER COME BACK This place should have a 1 rating or out of business!!!!!!”

I most of all suggest the batched white tea shots. They come in cute little airplane bottles (green tea shots are also available).
