We asked so many questions and she knew all the answers. I had the spaghetti à la Americana and it was so flavorful and Smokey and absolutely delicious. My husband had the 2 layer lasagna and we were amazed at not only the size of it but the taste. We also shared the flourless chocolate cake with gelato and it was magnificent! Overall if we could star this 100x we would.”

“Skip if you are vegetarian. Few options beyond hummus, pita and the whipped feta. The falafel were the tiniest I have ever seen and only 3 were served. So small all there was to eat was the deep fried crust, no soft steaming yummy green inside to taste. I have never had falafel like that. Hard and crunchy. We left hungry and wishing we had gone somewhere else. Service was very good but for the prices, one would expect that. Just an OK experience.”

“We visited Amada Tapas & Wine on 11/22/2025 to celebrate our 39th anniversary, and from the moment we walked through the door, the evening felt special. We were greeted immediately, and within seconds of being seated, the owner, Amanda, came over to personally wish us a happy anniversary. She even placed a charming little sign at our seats—such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the night. Choosing to sit at the bar turned out to be the best decision we could’ve made. Conner, the Bar Manager, was nothing short of spectacular. His warm personality, knowledge of the menu, and effortless hospitality elevated the entire experience. It truly felt like we were in great hands from start to finish. Conner walked us through the entire menu with genuine enthusiasm, offering thoughtful pairings and pointing out the dishes he felt we shouldn’t miss. His guidance made the ordering process feel effortless. He suggested we begin with the Endives, and it was a spectacular start—bright, crisp, and beautifully balanced, the perfect way to open the meal. From there, we moved on to the Chargrilled Octopus, paired with the Patatas Bravas. The combination was outstanding: the octopus tender with a hint of smokiness, the bravas perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. Conner then recommended the Rainbow Trout, which we paired with the Roasted Carrots—a duo that was flavorful, delicate, and beautifully prepared. Throughout the evening, both Amanda and Conner remained incredibly attentive, striking that rare balance between professional service and warm, genuine conversation. Their hospitality truly elevated our anniversary celebration and made the entire experience unforgettable. We ended the night feeling genuinely cared for and completely delighted by every part of the experience. We highly recommend visiting Amada Tapas & Wine—if we could give it 10 stars, we absolutely would.”

“A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. So far, my favorites: the French toast, the avocado toast with egg, and I love their thin crust pizza. Drinks, coffee drinks, great service - all the things that make me happy!”

“Done with speedway after 25 faithfull years. I always looked the other way on the fuel prices being a few cents higher for the convenience and reward system but now that they have made it so that you cannot refill a gas card after 7:00 p.m. and you cannot use a gas card to pay at the pump there's absolutely no reason to continue paying extra prices on gas and merchandise. I knew when they were purchased by 7-Eleven that it would go downhill fast and it has I buy $500 gas cards per week to fuel up at pump multiple vehicles and work nights I can no longer refill my cards and my family cannot use the card to pay at the pump avoiding risking being skimmed with a credit card at the pump. they say it's because of fraud on gift cards but if an employee is not behind the fraud then how is their fraud how is refilling a gift card before 7:00 any less fraudulent then after 7:00 how is me coming in to pay with my kid card any more of a chance of being fraudulent than not an employee cannot tell if it was fraudulently filled inside anymore than they can outside goodbye Speedway”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

pork belly tostada (10/10): house made everything and fresh smoked meats really shine through w/ fresh salsa verde and crema to accompany.
brisket migas (9/10): flavor bomb! Super tender brisket chunks and the perfect mix of textures with crunchy tortilla chips, fire-roasted tomatoes, and scrambled eggs.
Beans (side) (100/10): possibly my favorite. So comforting and flavorful, best topped on any of the main dishes or by itself, or dip the house made corn tortillas into.
Collards (side) (8/10): maybe over salted but that’s probably subjective! Otherwise, delicious, tender, zesty, and also a great addition to any of the main dishes.

Bonus: house made banana-strawberry swirl ice-cream with house made vanilla bean whipped cream. (1000/10) Other-worldly.”

I was surprised when we got there to see they have daily drink specials. Wine night, Yay!! I ended up ordering the bulgogi. It was so flavorful and you get such a big portion I ate it again the next day. Service was speedy and friendly. Atmosphere was nice. We sat outside and it was very cozy. “Been to Bento-Ya a couple of times now. Listen, it’s not the most extensive menu, and if you are not used to an open kitchen or authentic Japanese food, then I don’t know what to tell you. The nigiri is very fresh and high quality, and the ramen is a proper authentic Tonkatsu with a rich broth and all additions. I like my egg yolk a tad runnier, but otherwise, a very nice bowl. With making everything fresh, I imagine wait times can vary, but the prices are fair and the food is good. Great local spot and the owner/staff a very friendly, just don’t expect them to be little balls of sunshine if they have 20 orders to push out and they stop to take yours, like I read in some other comments. Their goal is to always produce a high quality product, and I respect that.”

I got unsweetened tea , so I asked for a empty glass and a glass of sweet tea and made my own , that also seemed to irritate her . Not sure what's going on over there , but I will not be back . I go there 2 or 3 times a year when in town . This time no way . The to go order was dropped off 20 minutes later , Dried out . Common sense cook the to go order a little later NOT AT THE SAME TIME ! 😡”

We were promptly seated and in the 4 minutes it took for me to visit the ladies room to wash my hands our server Bryan was apologizing for the wait!!! Like sir, what wait? He was incredibly helpful as this was our first visit. He offered in depth explanations of the menu options including letting us know about some of the special imported ingredients from Italy that make this not your typical pizzeria experience. They serve authentic Neapolitan Style pizza. We had the Italian Stallion and the Spicy Bianca. Both were superb. The food came quickly and was everything Bryan said it would be. I also tried one of the several beers they have on tap. The "hello darlin" was a perfect pairing to the pizza. We live in Huntsville AL and will DEFINITELY be making the trip back. Thank you to Community Pie and Bryan for helping me give my soldier an epic birthday dinner.”

“Incredible little place in Hixson. Good Coffee, the food is good too but slightly more selection would be nice. Interior is inviting and a great place to study, do work, or just chill. She also has a nice selection of art prints from local artists for sale. Would recommend to a friend. The owner and servers are incredibly nice and inviting. They are always quick in getting your order almost as soon as its ordered!”

“Phenomenal food. This is authentic Surat style food. They have amazing egg dishes and indo Chinese. The hidden gem was the Garlic Vada Pav. Definitely a must-try place. Service was great as well, the staff is very friendly and willing to come check on you to make sure everything is to your liking.”

“We were passing through Chattanooga And we googled restaurants near me with good ratings. We were staying at Riverview Mountain Inn, and decided to go there. I’ll start off with Vicky and Steve were amazing. They gave us a couple of samples to try before we even actually ordered. I got the homemade chicken salad and brussels sprouts with balsamic..amazing! We also got mahi fish tacos with french fries well done and coleslaw and both entrées were absolutely amazing. Atmosphere was very quaint, very personable. We are from small towns in Missouri and we feel the owners gave us that Hometown feeling….. We would highly recommend this place if you’re passing through from anywhere, but especially if you’re staying at Riverview Mountain Inn.
