Count your fkn days Ichiban. First off the waiter was not listening. He had the entire meal WRONG down to the veggies. Bringing some of us soups and salads when we said we didn't want them. We already waited 15mins to be seated. 20 mins for the chef to come out and then we waited an additional 30 mins because they forgot to turn the stove top on where we were sitting. The chef had to go back to the back and wait until it was hot. Next my son spots a bug crawling on the floor behind us. The host came and killed it with a rag. When we asked for a manager the waiter didn't get them. After we were done I asked hey what happened to the manager. He said I thought everything was OK. I said this was the worst experience I've had here EVER! The manager comes and acts like nothing was wrong with what happened. SAys I will discount your ticket. She took off $6.57 and then charged $21.80 gratuity. I said take that off too. I will tip him but not 18% because he didn't deserve it. It wasn't the price because I almost spent $200. It was the service. The rude manager can go to he!!.

I will start by saying that ICHIBAN is my favorite restaurant (the Hixson Location). I recently became a Brainerd resident and decided to give the Brainerd Location a 2nd try, because our first experience was delicious. Sorry to say, but our 2nd experience had to be the worst restaurant experience ever. There was nothing good about it and our order was wrong when we got home. I tried to call you let them know that I would be in tomorrow, but mo answer. I guess they will just have to hear it face to face .

They have great service despite currently being understaffed. They have such kind and funny chefs who go out of their way to accommodate all of their customers. Really enjoy taking family and friends here for a good time and great food.
First let me preface I have been dinning inn or getting carryout there since the 90's and really like there food. I have probably ate there over 200 times and I have had carryout at least 50+ times.I called 8 different times yesterday, over a 45 minute period trying to place a to-go order no answer. So it's about a mile from my office, so I decided to drive over and place a to-go order. I walk in and try and place a to-go order and the guy informs me that they stopped doing to-go orders 10 minutes ago. So I pull out my phone and show him where I have been calling and no answer. The kid looked at me and said "well I have the phone in my pocket and if I'm busy I don't answer it". So I asked him since I had been calling and needed to get a to-go order could they make it happen and he said "No". Just based on principal, I won't go back. There's plenty of other restaurants in town.

This is the most disgusting hibachi. The rice, you could tell, was frozen. Panda express is better than this. To top it off, after not even finishing our food, while walking out, we saw a roach on the wall. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Horrible service and food, anyone who recommends this or says it's the best has obviously never had actual hibachi and should be ashamed to even say this is your favorite. What a disgrace to the Japanese food community trash all around don't go here and save your money for something better like McDonald's, soup was like saltwater and shrimp stock absolute worst I've ever had your better off eating out of the garbage on the street then this dump

My daughter's birthday dinner was a hit! The food was amazing. The chefs were phenomenal. The staff that greeted us in the front was great too! I can't wait to go back.

I love this restraunt but sadly I'm gonna have to give it a 1 star because the last 4 or 5 times I've tried to place a to go order I've literally had to call for 30 minutes before being able to get anyone to answer the phone some of those times not even able to get anyone and having to give up and get something else I dont care how busy a restraunt is this is just unacceptable
