I have been waiting all month to have Good Friday off and have good food in Chattanooga I drove 2 hours Friday just to eat dinner here. I have been hyping this place up to my whole family and friends. Unfortunately we were dying to dine here , after waiting for 15 minutes for my family and a hungry 1 year old to eat .. we were told that we can dine elsewhere by Shetta ( the manager ) my brother just so happened to arrive at the same place same time and BERRY was so kind to allow us all to sit together however it was a problem to Shettah .. I asked Shettah several times if she could please accommodate us as we were already all sitting at the table. She proceeded to kick us out and told us we can dine elsewhere. I have never experienced such an embarrassing act at an establishment. We were ready to spend our money there but Shetta unfortunately did not allow this . The place was not even packed there were several tables opened. It was just going to be 6 adults 3 eating and 3 drinking . It’s unfortunate that we had to spend our money elsewhere because of someone that was too prideful to let us stay seated. I hope the owner reads this as I asked for the owner and Shetta stated “ you can get that information offline “ - simply rude this is no way of making business.

Great experience with a passionate staff!Do you ever walk into a new place to find it is amazing from the second you enter? From the atmosphere to the people (the energy for lack of a better word) is vibrating and joyful. This is Main Street MeatsWe stopped at Main Street Meats as part of a food tour, and although it was only a brief stop, we were met with such enthusiasm from our server that I hope to visit Main Street Meats each time I come to Chattanooga. And the frozen whiskey sour cocktail! I live in a city that celebrates cocktail culture, and we have quite a few beautiful craft cocktail bars, but this is the first time I have ever had a frozen whiskey sour. Though I live in a town that has frozen ginger beer and frozen wine and other frozen-slushy cocktails. This whiskey sour was beautifully prepared and just delicious! Gosh, I can just imagine having one of these on the summer day.We had a baby charcuterie plate, with a little mix of meats and cheeses and mustard etc, and everything was curated and chosen so carefully. What a beautiful experience for such a short stop! I will be back.

This place was recommended by hotel staff. It was great. At entry treated by very friendly staff who took us to table. Server was super. Really helpful and nice. Burger with bacon was wonderful. Home made fries were heavily salted but good. Seating was very close to other tables so “cozy”. I would love to go back for a steak.Parking: On street parking only. Can be problematic depending on day and time

Best burger in the southeast - just unreal. The potato salad is a must as well. People that don’t like potato salad will love this one - I order it and get it to go often for a side dish at home. Gave 4 stars for atmosphere just so you know it’s very casual, no reservations and a bit of the rush deli vibe. Little tight for those with disabilities but they do their best to accomodate. Outstanding spot and lucky to have it in Chatt!Parking: Street parking with meters.

Cool and low key atmosphere. This is a restaurant and bar and Butcher shop, serving outstanding local farm raised delights. I had the dry aged ribeye that was simply insane, and the warm potato salad was like no other I've ever had and equally as delicious. We sat at the bar, where the bartenders served up some incredible craft cocktails. If you are in the area, you don't want to miss this little gem!

Best hamburger in town! No question! (Ps the fresh and local buns are delicious, too!)Inside is always super noisy which makes conversations tough. Outside is better (until the fire trucks go off bc it’s across the street!)Oh and the bacon chocolate chip cookie is really tasty, too.

Food is okay but really overpriced. The 45 dollar fillet mignon was good, but the chicken dish was dry and salty, burger is good but nothing too

Some of the best food I've eaten in Chattanooga, with a comfortable, casual, friendly atmosphere. It's unpretentious, very clean, with indoor and outdoor seating. The restrooms are both family/gender neutral. It was our first time there so we took the server's rec and had burgers with a side of potato salad. (Note that their sides are family style, so order for the table or plan to take some home.)The burgers (ordered Medium) were excellent, seared enough to get a bit of crust but still pink and juicy in the middle. Good seasoning and the bacon, gruyere, and "kinda sweet, kinda sour" pickles complemented it perfectly. But the potato salad was the standout star! We were expecting cold potatoes and mayo, but this was warm and hard to explain. Somehow it evokes the texture and taste of roasted wedges, the creaminess of mashed potato, and the flavors of a loaded baked potato. The pop of mustard seed and crispness of scallion bring it over the top.We finished with the chocolate chess pie and it lived up to the rest of the meal. The pie itself is creamy and richly chocolate, and it's served with a light chocolate Chantilly cream, a very dark chocolate ganache, and some little crisp candy balls for texture. Each component had a very different chocolate flavor, which all combined perfectly and gave you a few ways to eat it (e.g., "pie + ganache" tasted different from "pie + Chantilly").We'll definitely be returning. Given the high quality of the food, I find the prices reasonable (for lunch we spent just under $60 for two people including drinks, dessert, and a generous tip), and we really just had a great time.Parking: Street parking is the most reasonable priced option, but there isn't a ton of it so you'll likely use the lot one block away which is privately run (and thus not free on Saturday evening or Sunday).

$90 for a steak? wasn't the one in the display case, over cooked, no marble... it was really not good.the corn bread thing was ok, the other stuff was normal, but the server was a rookie and really did a poor job. i should have asked about the price of the steak, my bad, but really, it was a not even close to worth it.I called them, the owner said he was going to call me and make it right. well, that never happened. even after emails saying he would.whatever. move on. hard pass. just not worth it on ANY level. i can't believe the average review is 4.7. Not on our visit...::Well, I see the owners responded to my post, but not to my call. Tells you something about the place... if you owned this place, wouldn't you call back? Tells me they don't really care. I call my customers all the time, ESPECIALLY if they are not happy with what we provide. As to the steak comment, the meat just wasn't worth $90.When was the last time a server didn't tell you "market price" at the time of the order.I like to think I am a live and let live kinda person. But I really hope this place fails. It was that bad. Go across the street to State of Confusion. It was WAY better!!
