We gave this place a second shot for Sunday brunch. As bad as the first time. Biscuits stale although the gravy was good. The croissant for the chicken salad sandwich inedible, although the chicken salad was good. The Bloody Mary's had no vodka. So disappointed. We will not be back.
My family and I came in for brunch on Sunday. My daughter order the Lakesite special with her eggs over hard. The server didn’t know how to do that, she asked someone, and said “sorry, I don’t eat egg.” My daughter’s food came out, eggs over easy, bacon uncooked (floppy). I mentioned to the server that the eggs came out wrong, she didn’t offer to have them fixed, just said, “sorry, I didn’t know how else to put them in.” Definitely not a great experience.
I moved here 2 years ago and this was the first place I stop for dinner and since the first day they treated me like a local. The bartender asked me : You are not from here don’t you? And I said, No, I just moved with my family, and from there she started suggesting what to get from the menu, put me up to date with the area, and not only she introduced me to some of their regular customers she even recommended other restaurants, schools and even a good church.
