Small, family owned hole in the wall. The fish is freshly cooked & seasoned well. We had fried catfish, shrimp, okra, cucumber salad & fries. The staff is excellent! There was a downpour while we were there. The waitress made a raincoat & hat for a customer. It was a VERY kind & welcomed gesture. I got the hear the humble beginnings from the son. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
While the hole in the wall appearance was off-putting at first, we still trekked inside as it was tripadvisor's 2nd best in Chattanooga. Between everyone in our party we got a good variety of items and nothing was bad. Dessert was even better! And definitely try the smackin' sauce. This is the best hidden gem. Food and service is great. From the outside it doesn't look like much but take a chance and enter you won't be sorry. I now drive from Alabama just to eat at Uncle Larry's.
