Solid Fast Food fish. Wife and I and our 2 kids stopped at Captain D’s on Wilma Rudolph Blvd for a quick bite for dinner. Was not disappointed. Has probably been 20 years since I’ve been to the D’s, and I will not wait that long again. Cole slaw is a must, as is the Sweet Tea. Reminded me slightly of Ivar’s, if you’ve been to the PNW, but light years beyond a Long John Silver’s dinner.Kid-friendliness: Kids liked it!
I've always loved Captain D's! I recommend their butterfly shrimp and oreo cheesecake! This particular location is very clean, and the staff were very friendly and professional.

My family and I are consistently happy with how good the food is here and it seems a great value. They are often fairly busy but still get things through and always seem to be friendly at the same time. The only thing I'd like to see them add to the menu is a build your own combo plate where you could select 2 - 4 mains as I would love to mix and match the incredible catfish with a few other items!
