When we are on vacation we have a rule that we do not eat anywhere we can eat at home. We decided on this place, for no reason in particular, we just chose it. Walking in the door it was a comfortable environment. The staff did not appear to be stressed out like at a lot of places we eat. I rarely drink alcohol and the drink I ordered was too strong for me. I simply asked for a little extra juice to help and not only did our server say ok but the bar tender even asked if they could doctor it up more than just extra juice. It was perfect after that. Our server was very attentive but not overly attentive. My 4 year old daughter liked her so much she tried to tip her the only coin she had. Instead I suggested she color her a picture. She drew her a very quick picture of her and our server together with a bright sunshine and a giant purple floating heart. Thank you all for such a great experience and showing us a great service and food!

This place has great ambiance, and location, good service, and most of the dishes, look and are great, like the Tuna BLT my brother got ??, but I ordered the shrimp cocktail and a salad, and was disappointed, the shrimp were small, and looked like they came from Walmart, the salad was very basic. Both could have been up graded alot!!.But I still give it 4 stars due to the other venue items, and services ?Vegetarian options: Salads were very basic.Iv never believed giving me a wedge of ice Burge lettuce and dressing is considered a SALAD ?

Rustic interior but serves up great food! I had the blackened ahi tuna with wild rice. It was delicious. I thought the rice was underdone but my husband ate it and said he like it that was so it's up to personal preference. Seriously tasty ahi, great service.

Empty tables but takes over a half hour to be seated. Can't say anything about the food because we left and got seated right sway across the street. Be prepared to wait a long while

We are on our way home from a week in Chattanooga, and had spent the day hiking in Fall Creek Falls SP. Spending the night on Cookeville again. I asked the woman at the desk of our hotel for recommendations for dinner... someplace the locals would eat. This place did not disappoint! My husband and I both had the rotating beers on tap... he had an IPA, I had a local (Nashville) sour. We split the chopped salad with pineapple vinaigrette. Don't pass on the dressing! Hubs had the jerk chicken special with black beans and fried plantains. Pretty sure they were made in an air fryer as there wasn't a hint of grease on them. I had the spinach mushroom Flatbread, which had more spinach than I anticipated (a good thing!). Our server, Loni, was full of info on the area as we are considering retiring to Tennessee. She was attentive, friendly and willing to answer all our questions!

Ordered a ribeye entree with mashed potatoes and asparagus - got a whole 4 TINY pieces of over cooked and very tough asparagus. Waiter just said “so sorry about that”. Asked if we could substitute a vegetable side for the other order and waiter said “yes”…. But failed to tell us we would be charged for it. Other than that, waiter was very polite, the place looked clean and well kept, wine was good and they had great mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts!Parking: Good parking.

Excellent spot for lunch or dinner, carefully selected beer and food. The presentation is beautiful, and the food tastes as good as it looks. The service was great.

Good food and service in the heart of town. Went twice while in town. Great atmosphere, kinda rustic approach.

Order a mushroom burger. The burger itself was good. But bun was old n dried out. The fries looked good on line but they sucked. First time here. Normally go to Seven Senses but they were closed today. Disappointed in 37 Cedar. Just get fresh buns. N serve real French fries. To bad. Was hoping this place would be good. Waitress was fine. Not her fault...
