“This little place is just what Cookeville needed. Our group has been wanting to try it out and finally did for a birthday outing. I love the different variety of drinks. We each got something different and they were all delicious. The staff were wonderful, so sweet, and even brought our friend a dessert with a candle for her birthday. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a low key night with yummy drinks and fabulous atmosphere.“

“Since the fire and rebuild, things have changed for the better. Food is terrific. I had crab cakes and cheese grits. Service was also fast and friendly. It is back on my favorites list of eateries. I even liked their selections of background music. My only complaint is that every time the door opened, there was a really cold draft. All else excellent.“

“When we are on vacation we have a rule that we do not eat anywhere we can eat at home. We decided on this place, for no reason in particular, we just chose it. Walking in the door it was a comfortable environment. The staff did not appear to be stressed out like at a lot of places we eat. I rarely drink alcohol and the drink I ordered was too strong for me. I simply asked for a little extra juice to help and not only did our server say ok but the bar tender even asked if they could doctor it up more than just extra juice. It was perfect after that. Our server was very attentive but not overly attentive. My 4 year old daughter liked her so much she tried to tip her the only coin she had. Instead I suggested she color her a picture. She drew her a very quick picture of her and our server together with a bright sunshine and a giant purple floating heart. Thank you all for such a great experience and showing us a great service and food!“

Misty's Suds & Buds Bar • $
1846 W Broad St, Cookeville

“Good little hole in the wall that hasn't been taken over by college kids. They have a modern jukebox with unlimited choices, and poker machines for all the big spenders out there. The bartenders are nice and overall in my opinion the place has a 'Cheers& feel. I stopped briefly on this day to have a few beers and saw customers walk in and the bartender called out their name. He actually knew everyone at the bar but me. I really want to get to Misty's more often as it is just right down the road but my schedule rarely allows it. When I wanna get out for a few beers I prefer Misty's , really to any other bar in Cookeville. And there are plenty to choose from. It's just one of them places to get away from it all to me.“

“This place was soooo good. The Pearl is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The yellow fin, tots, and chips were excellent. The drinks were well made, strong, and reasonably priced. I was just passing through town but I'd be a regular if I lived closer. They had a family emergency and had to close early or we would have stayed longer. I hope everything is ok.“
