“First time to stop by and not sure if I will be back. I have a dog and am not opposed to them so don't hate on me. However, I brought my new grandbaby here to relax and enjoy while we talked and caught up, but these animals constantly under my feet, smelling horrible from the rain and causing her to sneeze, this definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. They have a patio so why not enjoy the dogs under the outdoor cover? As a business owner I would recommend outdoor pets only! Just my thoughts but strong opinion that I won't be back.“

“This place was soooo good. The Pearl is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The yellow fin, tots, and chips were excellent. The drinks were well made, strong, and reasonably priced. I was just passing through town but I'd be a regular if I lived closer. They had a family emergency and had to close early or we would have stayed longer. I hope everything is ok.“

“Busy little place, easily recognizable as a college town. Atmosphere reminded us of Asheville, sort of stuffy. Staff seemed to be over the crowd and not really interested in joviality. Coffee was great. I enjoyed a frappe with a banana pound cake dessert.“

“We eat at The Blue Pig almost weekly and we love it! Kent and Jake have put their hearts and souls into this special place on the west side. Kent smokes ALL the meat he serves… very few can say that! Our favorites are the sweet potato nachos, cowboy nachos and combo platter (the candied smoked pork sausage is SO GOOD) don’t forget to have Jake or Angela make you a cocktail - they make the best margaritas in town!“
