Very busy. People arrived after us received their food before us. One was a large party of 12. We waited over a hour and no food. Have been here before and had great service and good food.

My Two Cents

I'm from out of state and judging Tennessee food by Pueblo Viejo's standard, I must say, I am impressed. Pueblo Viejo's Mexican food is authentic and served in delightful combinations. I look forward to coming back!

My husband and I went to eat there with three friends and we had very bad service. ? We sat down and three other couples came in with eight kids. They took there order then ours. They served them first. We sat there an hour waiting so we got up and walked out. My husband tried to talk to the man at the counter and he couldn't speak English. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious!!! Authentic, flavorful, and generous portions, but that's just the beginning. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a happy and welcoming family atmosphere. I visited from California for the second time and can't wait to be back. Thank you, Pieblo Viejo for the fine experience!

The food was absolutely, hands down amazing! Our server was also amazing. He always came to check on us and get anything out of the way. The restaurant on the outside doesn't really look like much. But you cannot judge a book by it's cover. When you go into the restaurant it's beautiful. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone!Kid-friendliness: My son is 2 and autistic. They made him feel welcomed. He also liked the chips and cheese. He doesn't really eat much when we go out but he did at this place!!

Food not very good. Not much worst than cold refried beans. No refills on drinks offer. I will not be back.

The food is quite good, but I can't figure out their pricing scale and I'm pretty confused and upset at the moment. We like to sit at the bar at Mexican restaurants, have a drink or two and order food to go. I guess there's no bar space here so we took a table because it wasn't busy. Somehow two taco meals ($15 each), a small house margarita, a large draft beer, and a large salsa was $61. In prior experience house margs are 5-7, and most draft beer is 3-7, and large salsa is 6 max. That should sensibly be closer to the $40/45 range depending on the actual cost of the drinks. If we rack up over $60 at a Mexican place it usually had included some tequila shots and more than one round of drinks. The receipts are small and non descriptive so we paid and left but shoot, after 20% tip...When we got home there were extra chips in there, which we didn't order, and I have no idea if we were charged for them or not. If we were charged then that's frustrating because we didn't ask for any chips. But this all has me feeling fussy because what is normally a fairly cheap fun meal ended up costing more than a splurge meal and I'm not sure if I want to return to this place.

Pueblo Viejo Mexican Restaurant claim they are the best Mexican restaurant & I would have to agree! These were the best quesabirras tacos $14.95 that we’ve had. They were cheesy, crispy & delicious. It wasn’t packed with so much cilantro or onions that I couldn’t enjoy them like some restaurants. As a matter of fact our server put those on the side & I was able to add as much as I wanted. The consommé was spicy but just the right amount of spicy. The tacos were seasoned perfectly! We added a little bit of queso which added a little more spice making it even better.
