My wife and I stopped here back in May while driving to the Smoky Mountains. We can’t stop thinking about Crazy Dawgs - or talking about Crazy Dawgs. The atmosphere, the service, the food, meeting the owner/head chef - all unforgettable! Our family had a wonderful experience with Crazy Dawgs in Pikeville. I worked with Tammy, the manager, to make reservations for a group of 30 plus for lunch. She was so friendly and professional.The lunch followed a memorial service for my mother, and Tammy and staff made sure it was a memorable experience. Guy was super sweet ,even made me a just a grilled cheese sandwich ?,because I don't eat pork ?,recipe for his pulled pork was developed by him & late wife, he cooks it low & slow for 20 + hrs, just the way it should be ? b.f had brisket? sandwich said it WAS AMAZING!! again cooked low & slow, makes sweet tea in house ? no powered mixed for this guy !! it's super clean, even FOUND out-of -twners eating here ??☺
