I ordered from the LJS menu and was somewhat disappointed. I ordered the L5, which is one chicken, one fish, fries and hush puppies. I added an additional side of cole slaw to go with my meal. The chicken was good, but rather small in portion size. The fish was okay, but a tad bit greasy. The fries were greasy, and I could not finish them. The hush puppies were good, but my slaw was horrible. It was very "dry" as it seemed to not have any of the juices that normal slaw would have. It was also VERY cold and partly frozen. I had to break some of it apart with my fork to eat. It was so cold it almost hurt my teeth. It lacked a lot of flavor as it seemed to be mostly chopped, frozen vegetables and nothing else.The staff was friendly and accommodating, and even the ones I encountered in the dining room were friendly and smiling. The atmosphere was ok as the trash was removed from the tables, but the floors really needed sweeping. The tables really needed wiping down, though, as I noticed a lot of crumbs and such on them. They weren't overly busy, so they should have been able to tidy up the dining room.

Had the fish, chicken, and shrimp combo.The food was cold, looked either overcooked or old. The inside of the restaurant was dirty. Out of the mango Brisk tea, as usual. The service was good though!!

The food tasted old. The fries were cold and mushy meaning they weren't cooked all the way. The oil that they fried the food in tasted old, needed to be changed to new. I'm pretty sure that's why none of the food tasted good but the staff was very nice and the place was really clean.

It's a hit or miss for me here, sometimes it's better than other times like tonight's dinner for instance the chicken and fish both were dry and the hush puppies were no better I would have to say the fries was the star of the show for this meal. Hopefully they will do better in the future?
Sad, sad, sad….. been going to this location for a long time. Steadily been going down hill. Today, I spent 45.00 on a family meal.Food was nasty greasy, the fries came from IGA or Walmart, not LJS fries, the containers were not even branded, not even the napkins. We got zero hush puppies, and the green beans tasted like mold. No cocktail sauce, 2 packs of old tartar sauce that was sticky, and 5 packs of vinegar that I’m sure has been there since they open the doors.For the price we pay, I expect much better. Not that they care, but yet another customer they will never see again.
