I really wanted to love this place. Based on the wonderful smells coming from the pit and the excellent reviews i was sure we were in Hog heaven. Not so unfortunately. The tiny portion of pulled pork was not in the least flavorful nor delicious. Apparently other reviewers have not experienced good bbq. Saving grace wasthe twiced baked potato. Good barbecue! My family has been a customer since before I was born, and I have great memories growing up with Ricks. It's a little pricey for the area and you have to have cash, but I'm glad they're still in business this long.
