I really wanted to love this place. Based on the wonderful smells coming from the pit and the excellent reviews i was sure we were in Hog heaven. Not so unfortunately. The tiny portion of pulled pork was not in the least flavorful nor delicious. Apparently other reviewers have not experienced good bbq. Saving grace wasthe twiced baked potato. Wish I could rate more than just 5 stars! Have been eating here since I was little - taste amazing everytime! I have dreams about that pecan pie too!! ?❤️ SO GOOD!!
i'm sure the food is delicious i don't ever leave bad reviews, but my wife and i came here they said they basically didn't have anything left at the end of the day that they had to order more etc..... they told us we'd have to call and ask them to save us whatever we wanted to order and to me its crazy we even have to do that and the service is kinda snooty my wife and i passed and went some where else.

Good barbecue! My family has been a customer since before I was born, and I have great memories growing up with Ricks. It's a little pricey for the area and you have to have cash, but I'm glad they're still in business this long.

Overpriced ripoff. There are better choices in the area. The prices at this inconvenient bbq shack are outrageous. When a can of soda cost $1.99, you get the idea. Want a meal? Bring a fat wallet. And leave the family at home, you won't be able to afford feeding everyone ! Oh is your sandwich alittle dry ? That will be .50 for sample sized side of sauce. ??. What a joke. Never again
