“We eat there weekly the food the service and the restaurant it's self are very nice the place really does make you feel as if your in a farm house good ole home cooked food and a relaxed atmosphere is what you'll find here I highly recommend this place at times you may have to wait for a little bit but no worries they have plenty of rocking chairs on the front porch to relax in while you wait or after you've ate be sure to tip your wait staff they work really hard to serve the customers“

“Me and my son, come here often. The waitresses are super.020 Now its mostly me by myself. The girls are still great, and they take good care of their customers.Update: 6/2021 I still go here alot, but recently the management has changed and Troy is back. Things are looking even better for this restaurant as Covid-19...fades away ( we hope)Update: 6/2022 I come sometime, but trying to get away from waffle house at the same time. Covid centeredness is all but left, and none of the servers wear mask to remind you of Covid, and the seating is not limited as it was this time last year and back in ' 20. Great programs to get discounts as well.Update: 11/2023Under management by an old face. Ashley, Becky, Jennifer, David, plus a couple others are great servers who go out of their way to make sure people come back. A few of the others chat more with each other about silly stuff or play on their phones behind the counter than they do with the customers. Don't let Robert catch you.“

“Coming back home from Chattanooga trip. Friend and I got the munchies. Stopped in the Waffle House in Etowah. Always a great atmosphere, service and great tasting breakfast. I'm probably considered a regular there. I go there just about every Sunday morning for breakfast to start my day.“

And the desserts by the register are so good and fresh.I’ve read other comments on here about the wait time and yes the wait time was long but people have to understand that homemade food is not quick to make. If you want quick unhealthy food, go down the road and get fast food.My personal experience at Jessica’s place was amazing and I drove 40 minutes there and i would drive 40min again.Also stop by Amish farm market when you’re done if you love fresh homemade ingredients. They’re all good people.“

“Great location, just right off the main road. You can pull up and park or dine in, it's your choice. we pulled in and ordered off the main board from our vehicle. Staff were very friendly during our visit. The food portions are definitely Belly filling!!“

“Me and my wife decided to finally try Angela's and we were not disappointed. She got the captain Kenny and I got the cheesy bacon burger. Both were excellent and I would highly recommend. The servers were all so nice and just a great atmosphere. We both brought home the triple leches cake to try and I'm excited about it. It is a little expensive but well worth the money. Gonna try to cuban next time and my wife wants to try the chicken Philly.“

“Hidden gem of a restaurant, so glad we found it! The service was very good and good food was exceptional. We had the ribeye steak and rack of lamb, both were very tender and flavorful.Will definitely be returning to try up their hamburgers and salmon.“

“If you want a place to sit with a friend, eat and talk. This is the place. I had not been in this establishment before. Plenty of seats. Country type place which is welcome to most people around here. Quiet and open atmosphere. I ordered as did my friend and neither of us could say anything negative about anyrhing here.“

“We have eaten here 3 times since they opened. It was good. The best is the slices of cake! I pass by here on the way home and when I need a treat this is always my go to. A large slice is enough for 1.5 people. It's costly at 9 bucks, but worth it.“

“We love going to this Waffle House. We always get lucky enough to have Marsha as our server, she has the best personality. The food is great, the managers always comes out to say hello. Just a very pleasant experience that you rarely have at a restaurant these days. .“

“The best seafood I have ever eaten in a fast food restaurant! Everything was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was clean. The staff knew & cared about what they were doing, they weren't there just for a paycheck. The staff was neat, clean, & very friendly. The food was cooked to order, so it was fresh & hot. They brought it to our table. Someone came by our table 2 or 3 times to make sure everything was ok or if needed anything else. Í can't say enough good things about this place. When we want fish again we will definitely go to this Captain D's instead of the one in our town, even though it's a little over an hour away. I would recommend this Captain D's to anyone!“

“Service was okay. Initial bartender was on point. The one that came on shift while we were still there spent most of her time socializing with the guys at the end of the bar. Overall, for what everything costs, I usually have a better experience and food at Texas Roadhouse.“
