“Don’t listen to all the complaints. My Reuben was very good. It was warm and not too wet or dry A little pricey for a sandwich. But I’m not mad. Lady at counter was nice and patient. Nice atmosphere ( different than just sitting in a regular old restaurant) I’d eat here again. Very nice!?“
“I can’t say enough good things about Burra Burra and Nikki our server!!! The food is literally FABULOUS!!! The Shepherds pie and and the Bourbon Glazed Salmon are to die for!!! Everything was perfect and you can watch a game!! We were not sure what to order and Nikki was spot on with her suggestions!!! My new favorite while traveling through McCaysville, Ducktown, and Blue Ridge.“
“My husband and I celebrated our last day of our honeymoon here, and let me just say we loved it! The manager was amazing! She introduced herself and made sure we felt welcomed! Our waiter (chase) and the hostess made the atmosphere very delightful! The hostess even took our photo at the end with a kind smile! The experience was a must try! They gave us many free first try’s and complimentary add ons. They even gave us a hand written note to congratulate us on our honeymoon. We will definitely come back next time we are in blue ridge again!Parking: Parking in their own lot. Plenty of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Great accessibility“
“We met my folks here they live in Georgia we live in Tennessee. The staff was super friendly helpful the food was amazing. I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich. What are the best I ever had. My brother loves his burger cooked to perfection we will definitely be going back. Is a cute little town as well the onion rings “
“Absolutely wonderful, one of my favorite places to eat in the city. Try the blackberry smoke burger, its really great. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because the man who runs Singo on Monday nights has been consistently and aggressively rude to me every time we've made the mistake of showing up on a Monday night. Don't go on a Monday.Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers available!“
“This is an interesting place. We were a larger group of 9; I doubt a second group of that size could be accommodated at one time. The food was of high quality, if not a bit pricey with a limited menu. We were burdened with 4 children for this trip, and we do not recommend taking kids to this restaurant. There is no kids' menu. The restaurant is in an old bank, with old bathrooms. There was live entertainment and a hefty bar to boot. Probably a good place for a group of 1-4 to stop for food and drinks.“
“Called to order a cupcake arrangement for my friends bachelorette party! Brandi has been extremely accommodating, going as far as sending me a mock up of what the arrangement should look like as well as going above and beyond at getting back to me with any questions I have! I’m sure the cupcakes are going to be great, but the service is amazing!“
“Excellent restaurant in the heart of Blue Ridge. Great location, great food, and awesome atmosphere. There is a good 20 pinball and other gaming machines that you can use by paying for an hour pass, well worth it! The food is also unique and is reasonably priced, which is not something you always get in a tourist town like Blue Ridge. Would recommend for anyone to visit!Parking: Blue Ridge is a tourist trap town... you will likely have to both walk a ways and pay for your parking. Similar to Helen, GA parking with respect to walking distances and cost.Kid-friendliness: A wide variety of games to play for the kids, as long as you pay for a pass and they are respectful of the machines.“
“Went there twice while visiting Murphy, NC this past week. Great atmosphere, great food, great service! Andy makes you feel like a long lost friend when you meet him! Rich, too! We'll definitely be going to this bar every time we visit!“
“Fast, FRIENDLY, & always SO good!! Yum! 10/10 recommend the Tariler weather your a local and you KNOW, or a visitor on a nice mountain retreat... Definitely try you some TRAILER delightful chicken bis! (I like mine with cheese and tomato ? ?“
“Today we visited Chester. The food and service were stellar like it has been for the past 4 years. Today there was a middle age woman that was the hostess the couple that was eating with us was coming from the bathroom when he overheard the hostess asked a Hispanic men if he had a green card. Odd thing to ask. To be fare there was a language barrier. Men was very appropriate dress for dinner. I understand if the men were asking for an alcoholic beverage to require id but not a green card. But my understanding is you do not need a green card to go eat at any restaurant. Maybe the middle age woman was letting him know that as long as he had green money it was all he need it. A few other staff approached the woman and proceeded to say to her that if he came back they will take care of him.“
“Food was absolutely amazing! Would have given 5 except our group was seated right in front of the door that was opening continually due to people eating outside. I called ahead to see if they had a kids menu and I should have been specific about breakfast because although they have a kids menu there were no breakfast options for them. It also took almost an hour to receive our food but to be fair it was busy and the brunch was worth the wait!! Our waiter was super friendly too! I recommend you give the brunch a try!Kid-friendliness: They did have a kids menu but not with any breakfast food.“
“This is homey and relaxing restaurant and has been in business for over two decades serving breakfast, and lunch. Breakfast favorites include biscuits, waffles, pancakes, french toast, and eggs are cooked to order in your favorite style. Lunch favorites include burgers, Philly cheese steaks, soups, and salads. Make sure to check out the daily lunch specials. They have a kids menu for the little ones. They are open Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00am until 3:45pm. Mondays and Tuesdays are closed. Outdoor seating is available. ?Some people complain about a long wait to be seated, that’s nonsense! You should be concerned when you walk in and the restaurant is empty!032124“
“We ate there @ Canterberry’s yesterday 2/26/24. We are local first timers and had out of town guest. Had tuna on rye w/fruit cup, Rubin on rye w chips, chicken salad on white w/pasta salad. Will definitely 100 % go back. Sandwiches were great!! Will pick some up, take home for dinner sometime. Keep up the good work because so many restaurants are inferior. Murphy Casino restaurant WAS really good top grade, ate there same day and now it is AWFUL!!! Must have a different chef. Won’t go back there.“
“The staff and food are both fantastic. The burgers are so good and are piled with high quality toppings. We sat on the patio and despite the cold weather, we were toasty warm with the heaters that were out there. Can’t wait to go back because I have been DREAMING about their Kimchee Slaw ever since we dined here!“
“This is a must go to Tavern!! The food is fantastic and the entire staff was on point and very friendly. Super military friendly and operated by veterans. The co-owner was working and was very engaging. The place has a classic rock/metal feel, but not so much that you can't enjoy conversation. I highly recommend the Megadeth Burger and the mammoth nachos!! Sooo delicious. The Jolly Rancher cocktail tastes just like a pink starburst and watermelon!!!“
“Food and service was great. The waitress made a mistake and didn't tell the cook no onions in her patty melt. They corrected the mistake and got a new plate right back to her within minutes. The waitress apologized numerous times and we told her not to worry, everything was great. Most Waffle Houses are way too cold but this one the temperature was very pleasant. We would highly recommend.“
“Nice place with good food at a good price.Waitress could have been more attentive. It seems that every chance she could she was on her phone either texting or playing a game.I would go back but they really need to address staff. I had to flag down another to get refill on drinks.“
“We were taken back into the lounge since my group was all over 21. It was quieter there and lighting was low. Wait times for putting in our order and getting the bills and paying the bills were a little lengthy, but it was a busy dinner time as well. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We all enjoyed our food. I’ve added pics of what I tried. The baked ziti came with 2 garlic rolls. Nice serving amount for the money and tasted delicious! The pasta sauce is quite sweet which I liked, but I know not everyone does. The Veggie Pesto Flatbread pizza was delicious! One of my friends split it with me. The sweet tea was perfect! I wish they served their drinks in taller glasses so we wouldn’t have needed to refill them so often. I took citrus chipotle wings and garlic parm wings with Buffalo sauce added in, home to my bf. And they were divine!!! Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: My friend enjoyed her veggie burger and salad!Parking: It’s a fairly large parking lot so parking wasn’t difficult to find.“
“Had two lovely meals here this week. We had the pimento cheese and house made pickles, the brie, the duck, the harvest salad and the cuban. All were very good, especially the duck. Jamison took care of us at the car on the first visit and Bobby at a table on the second visit. Everything was perfectly timed, hot and delicious. Really good wine selection too. We will definitely visit every time we're in Blue Ridge.“
“During our recent stay in the hotel we went to the rooftop bar and restaurant. We sat outside overlooking the area as far as the eyes can see and enjoyed the amazing views and live music. The food and drinks were great! The service was friendly and pleasant. This place is worth checking out if you are in the area. Great for Date Night! ?031924“
“We ate here for lunch on our vacation to north Georgia. It’s clearly family owned and not a chain. The service was friendly and genuine. The food came quickly and was hot, fresh, and flavorful. I enjoyed the grilled trout, and also had a bite of the grilled cheese my friend had ordered. It was buttery and crunchy on the outside, with a generous amount of melted cheese on the inside. The pickled beets were clearly homemade and quite tasty.Everyone in our party of 6 was happy with their meal, the portions were regular to large, and I feel the prices were fair. The front area of the restaurant also has a store where you can buy produce, jarred goods, and miscellanea like Christmas cactus baby plants and pumpkins. (They also had spotless bathrooms) Highly recommend, will be going back the next time we visit the area.“
