i really liked this restaurant!! i got the fish and shrimp dinner with mac and cheese and it was not to disappoint!! the mac and cheese was very very good and same with my fish. my only complaint was the cornbread. it was very hard and dry. for dessert my family shared a banana cake which was one of the best desserts i’ve had in a while. it tasted just like banana bread!! the workers were very kind and i recommend eating here!!

We used to go to Soul Fish for fried catfish, which is excellent, but fattening. Then we decided to try the blackened catfish. Ohhhh! Two big fat fillets that were much less fattening than the fried. I usually ask for the lightly blackened. My husband and I have traveled all over Europe and the world. We just got back from 23 days in South Africa. The first thing we did was go to Soul Fish for lightly blackened catfish. I think it's a the best fish I've ever eaten. Very generous portions. Great price value. There isn't much atmosphere, but the fish and vegetables are great.

The catfish is always fantastic and fried to perfection. The cucumber salad rocks and the Cajun Cabbage is good as well. The service is fast and friendly. Never had a bad meal or bad experience here.

Called a day ahead for a party of 10 for a birthday party. Was told we would be accommodated. Upon arrival, they tried to seat us in two booths. The party room was closed because they said they didn't have enough servers. They wanted to 6 people to sit in a four person booth! Terrible accommodation. Extremely disappointed and won't be back.

I loved everything about this place, most specifically the food. It was delicious and ssrved hot, with seasoning! Definitely returning at the soonest opportunity. Service was exceptional with a waitress attending University of Memphis. She knew the menu practically verbatim with helped us, first time visitors.

Best meal from our massive roadtrip. Fish was fried perfectly, and there were so many great sides to choose from. I had the cucumber salad and green beans. Also, our Carmel cake was delicious.
